Protected by the Devil

Protected by the Devil

I was already traumatized enough to touch the food without being clean enough, so I turned to the open bathroom door. I decided to go in before the hunger spoke louder, and as soon as I was stunned. It was a real bath chamber in an all-white and tiled space, with a wide and black shower that "unless I asked" began to release water, causing the wall below it to imitate the action, making a simple shower bath into a hot water waterfall, inviting me to join it. The sink and the toilet were also black, and a mirror also framed in black stretched over the entire wall next to the bathroom door, from floor to ceiling.

Whispers an Bone's

Whispers an Bone's

The view before my eyes is one I will never be able to un see, the horror before me is one only seen in movies and murder documentaries, I never imaged in my life that I would see what my eyes are now seeing. The walls around my bathroom are stained in a dark crimson with a puddle pooled around the sink. “The victim must of been hiding in here when the attack happened” comes another male voice from the door way. The first man stands from his crouching position next to the bathtub and walks right though me leaving me with a tingling feeling in his wake. The reality of what just happened and what I'm seeing hits me like a brick house and it al comes rushing back to me like a title wave. Tears

Who I'm

Who I'm

Camelia said to Cameron. "You're not going in either," I said seriously to Camelia, and she sighed and opened the door. I gasped and turned to Cameron, hiding my head in his chest but I didn't touch him, I quickly opened the door and saw the whole bathroom full of blood everywhere on the walls and in the floor and windows and everything..not only that but pieces of people scattered everywhere... It's like with a massacre..

The other revealed a drool-worthy bathroom decorated in shades of teal green and a pearly white. There was a standing shower with opaque glass on the wall opposite to me. To my left was the biggest bathtub I’d ever seen with several water jets on the sides. The thing even had steps to get inside. To my right was a large elegant sink. “Okay, maybe we could give this teamwork thing a try,” I said, eyeing the tub. *Of course. Logic won’t win you over but the bathroom will.* I could almost see him roll his eyes. I closed the door, grinning, and continued the search of my room/cell. All the drawers of nightstands and dressers had been empty. I had just closed the last drawer when the door opened

Such a good story! The story flows well. Doesn’t go on too long describing a vibe or paragraphs of how one foliage growing on a home looks like (looking at you, Anne Rice). Seriously, though, “Jilguera” is a wonderful storyteller. Read this story. It’s so good.

Creative show not tell like of story. Unique and dosent have “breaks” or emotional slow parts. Love the diversity and embracing unconventional circumstances. Also it’s not to long or drawn out, it’s just the right length. A delightful afternoon read 10/10 thank you!

Contracted: Love In The Shadow

Contracted: Love In The Shadow

Lucian blurted out as he stared at his bathroom; he almost mistook it for a queen's chamber. The bathroom was a serene sanctuary, adorned in soothing tones of blue and white. The walls, painted in a calming shade of sky blue, reflected the soft morning light that seeped in through a frosted window, casting a gentle glow across the room. The floor, tiled in pristine white, felt cool beneath Lucian’s feet as he stepped inside.

Godfather

Godfather

Octavious had laid out my entire butchered family all over my bathroom. I fell to my knees and cried inconsolably but Octavious only grabbed me by my hair and began to pull me further into the bathroom. I fought against him, not wanting to be around the dead bodies of my parents and grandparents. He dragged me along the floor and I screamed bloody murder as I was soaking up all of their blood that had covered every inch of this beautiful bathroom.

Maid For Me

Maid For Me

THE BATHING ROOM was tiny, dingy and smelled like piss. It was dimly lit with a torch that did little to provide light. It was lined with tiny cubicle-like bathroom stalls about ten of them. The stalls each had no doors, one small shower head fixed above and green algae growing on the walls. The room was filled with the sound of some of the girls crying. Some of the women working at the brothel were just leaving the bathroom when we entered. Madam Claire stood at a corner of the bathroom quietly inspecting us with the help of two of her goons.

The Ruthless Magnate

The Ruthless Magnate

he said in a soft voice as she nodded. He let himself in the bathroom. So Samantha, he whispered to himself once he was inside. Light touch of yellow is the dominant color of the bathroom. There is a floating sink with a a cabinet on top which had mirrors as it’s doors. He opened it out of curiosity and saw packs of sanitary napkins and tampons. He closed it and saw an unopened toothbrush right beside the water faucet. Hmm.. Thoughtful, he whispered to himself as he continued to look around. On the left side of the sink is the toilet bowl. There is a glass wall that served as a divider of the toilet and the shower. The bathroom smells and screams Samantha. He can’t help but think about her u

Her Worst Nightmare

Her Worst Nightmare

I am twelve again. Oh god, oh god. I look around, heart pounding. The bathroom in my mother's council flat is small and smells of damp and urine where they've missed the bowl and pissed up the wall. The paint there is cracking and peeling off, yellow-stained plaster showing through underneath. The shower curtain – a purple and yellow gaudy affair - is hemmed with brown mildew. The bathtub is stained with patches of limescale. I've tried to scrub it so many times, but it doesn't come off. The stain never comes off.

Great book so far. The style and storyline of the book outshines other books on this and other platforms by miles. So impressed I am rating it before I finish it. You should be really proud you this author

Marked By The Four

Marked By The Four

He was stripping me of the last scraps of armor I had left. Jax jerked his chin toward the adjoining bathroom. “Shower. We’ll get the blood off, see the damage.” His voice was low, dangerous, threaded with something that made my pulse kick. I should’ve refused. I should’ve shoved them all away and held my ground. Instead, maybe because I was too tired, maybe because I wanted to see what they’d do if I didn’t resist - I let them lead me. The bathroom was massive, stone and steel, a walk-in shower wide enough to hold six men, with a built-in bench carved into the wall. Water already roared to life, hot steam rising, cascading over slick stone.
