The Italian Bride of the Bratva King

The Italian Bride of the Bratva King

“…Should anyone here know of any reason that this couple should not be joined in holy matrimony, speak now or forever hold your peace." "I do!" A sharp voice bombed the church. Frowning, I turned my head toward the owner of the voice who dared to object to My wedding. And there He stood. My vicious rival. The man I hate the most. The Pakhan of Bratva! Aleksandr Fedorov. "On what ground do you object?" The priest demanded. My face was turning red in anger while He smirked with his eyes set on mine. "Because this bride is already married to me.” I blinked up at him. Married to him!? What the hell was He saying! ***************************** No one knows that it's a fake marriage. A contract marriage to fulfil the last condition of taking over Cosa Nostra. I didn't hear what the Priest was saying, nor did I pay attention to my groom. The white wedding gown was the last step for my crown. I, Aria Salvatore Knight, was going to be the first female Capo dei capi. The one who was going to make history in the world of organised crime. But my hopes and dreams died because of him. My reputation was shattered because of him. He made me a joke in Cosa Nostra and now it's his turn to pay for his sins. Love, betrayal, killing, conspiracy, suffering whatever it costs, Aria knight was determined to become the first Female capo of Cosa Nostra. It has been her aim since her childhood. But what would happen when she was rewarded with the unwanted title of something on her head too, which would create big havoc in Cosa Nostra? The Bratva Queen! Well, Let's dive into the bloody story of the Ice Princess and the Merciless Monster.

There is too much to write about this story to write a review in 300 characters. I highly recommend this book, but start with the Delta’s Daughter if you haven’t already started there. Stout had me on a roller coaster of feelings with this one. I can’t wait to read the next one!

I really enjoyed this series. Many books on this platform have similar stories, which gets boring really fast. This book series kept me entertained the whole time. It had the perfect balance of romance and action. I enjoyed getting to know each character in more detail as each book was added.

The Secret Behind the Exam

The Secret Behind the Exam

I have always had an almost pathological sense of paranoia. Ever since I was a child, I was convinced that the people around me were out to get me. Back in elementary school, when everyone was lining up for their student ID photos, I flatly refused to have mine taken. I insisted that the district office was going to use my picture for identity theft. The situation escalated so badly that the principal had to personally sit me down and spend half an hour trying to convince me otherwise. Then, there was the fingerprint registration system in middle school. The school required every student to submit their fingerprints to access the campus buildings. I was so terrified that someone would steal my biometric data that I literally rubbed the skin off all ten fingertips to make them unreadable. Even when my fingers were bleeding, I kept shouting that they were trying to steal my identity. I would rather climb over the school fence every day than cooperate. Every relative I had called me crazy. My parents were so fed up that they seriously considered having me admitted to a psychiatric hospital. I did not care. I guarded my privacy with obsessive determination, gritting my teeth and holding my ground all the way up to the eve of the final exams. Then came the day before the exam. That afternoon, our homeroom teacher, Tracy Collins, walked into the classroom carrying a metal lockbox. A warm, motherly smile spread across her face as she set it down on the desk. "Everyone," she said, "to make sure nobody forgets their documents tomorrow, I'd like you to hand over your IDs and exam admission slips for safekeeping tonight." She patted the lockbox reassuringly. "Tomorrow morning, I'll personally return them to each of you outside the testing center. This way, there's absolutely nothing that can go wrong." The class was deeply moved by her thoughtfulness. Some students even looked close to tears as they eagerly pulled out their documents and lined up to hand them over. Everyone except me. My hand clamped down over my pocket so tightly that my knuckles turned white. Cold sweat poured down my back. A sharp alarm bell was ringing in my head. Trying not to attract attention, I fished out a spare flip phone from my bag, ducked beneath my desk, and dialed emergency services. As soon as the call connected, I lowered my voice and spoke into the receiver. "Hello. I'd like to report a crime. My name is Charles. "I believe a teacher at St. Alden High is working with an identity-fraud ring and is planning a large-scale operation tonight involving examination fraud and identity theft."

The Strength to Start Over

The Strength to Start Over

My wife's childhood friend, a gambling addict she had known since childhood, returned to Dryana. To help him pay off his debts, she stole and sold my medical patent. Before it happened, I confronted her. I tried to stop her. I even threatened to call the police. Amanda Carroll looked at me as if I had disappointed her beyond repair. "Enough, Cedric Lunsford. You're a grown man. Can you stop nitpicking over every little thing? "Don isn't like you. He's in trouble right now. You make that much money. What's wrong with giving him a little? I'm already your wife. Are you seriously going to tell me where my heart is allowed to be?" I gathered the evidence and headed to the police station. Halfway there, my brakes failed. The car slammed into the guardrail. Metal crumpled and glass shattered. I was pinned in the driver's seat, drenched in blood, forcing out my last breath as I called for help. Amanda's voice on the line was flat, almost bored. "Stop yelling. Don can't stand bloody scenes. Don't make him sick. Your insurance payout is enough for him to start over. Consider it the last duty you perform as a husband." At that moment, I understood. Even at the end, she chose his gambling debt. She chose murder and an insurance payout. The vehicle exploded. Nothing remained of me. Then I opened my eyes again. I was back on the day her "childhood sweetheart" returned. This time, I did not stop her from going to the airport. I picked up my phone and called my senior overseas. "I'll sell you the patent. And the position you mentioned, I'm in. See you in three days."

You Shot Your Own Grandmother, Alpha Heir

You Shot Your Own Grandmother, Alpha Heir

My grandma and I were on a perfect beach in Golden Bay. The sun warmed my skin, the sand was soft beneath my feet, and she was resting peacefully nearby. Suddenly, a sharp pain shot through my mind. A mind link. It was Brenda. Assistant to my mate, Gideon, the Alpha Heir. The image she sent was horrifying. An old woman in simple clothes, lying in a pool of her own blood. Deep gashes, down to the bone, from a silver-laced weapon. Brenda's voice echoed in my head, dripping with arrogance. “Cora, do you Omegas do anything but freeload?” “Gideon just bought this estate, and you’re already letting your pack-leeching relatives squat here? As the Alpha’s assistant, it's my duty to protect his land from trespassers.” “This is what happens when you trespass on an Alpha’s private property!” I froze. I looked over at the sun umbrella. My grandma, Maria, was napping peacefully. I replayed the image from the link. My blood ran cold. That face… bloody and broken, but I knew it. I would never mistake it. It wasn't my grandmother. It was Eleonora. Gideon’s grandmother. A rival pack had attacked her months ago. Her wolf was weakened. She was in a pack clinic. Her mind-link was damaged. She could only receive, not send. Today… she was supposed to come home. I pushed back against the link with all my strength. “Brenda, are you insane? Look who you hit! That's Eleonora! Gideon's grandmother!” Brenda cut the link. Her last words were cold and stupid. “Gideon made it clear. Your family is your problem. His family is his. He doesn’t claim trash like them.”

Blind Fate: The Beta's Regret

Blind Fate: The Beta's Regret

HELLFIRE HORSEMEN: BOOK 1 Ruin is not only a Beta to Alpha Ryker; he's the reincarnation of something much darker. When Alpha Ryker sends him on a mission to be the bodyguard to a prominent Alpha's daughter, he expected it to be a straightforward thing. But when he first lays his eyes on Chloe Jane, and inhales her scent, he feels the pull of the mate bond, but since she is blind, the bond seems to be one-sided. Oh, fate can be cruel... Chloe Jane wasn't born blind. But she has always known darkness, and it is not only from being sightless. When she first meets Ruin, there is an immediate attraction even though she cannot see him. His scent seemed familiar and felt like home. But how can the Goddess mate these two, who already share a dark history? *** I narrow my eyes because I know this man. He's older, but…The last time I saw him was fifteen years ago after a botched rescue mission to save his wife and daughter… I try not to show my surprise at what I've just realized, because there's no bloody way it can be true. There's no way this is the same man from back then, and there's just no f*cking way that this woman in front of me is— “I see you've met my daughter already; this is Chloe Jane, your charge for the next few months, he says, shutting up my doubts. Now I understand Ryker's words better; and as that realization sets in, I can finally hear the word my wolf is saying. Ryker is cruel, but the Fates even more so. How could they mate me to a woman I nearly killed, a woman whose life I ruined by my careless actions?

The Deaths Of Three

The Deaths Of Three

While I was nine months pregnant, the apple of my husband’s eye moved into our house. Whenever she saw me, she would make a sad face. My husband was sure that I was flaunting my pregnancy to make her angry. “Rachel is frail, and she can’t get pregnant, yet you’re walking around making her upset?! Do I seriously have to teach you a lesson?!” He ordered the bodyguards to lock me in the attic that had not been in use for a long time and told them not to give me food. I pleaded for mercy and told him that the ultrasound scan showed that the twin babies were too big. I told him that the doctor had claimed that I had to be hospitalized while I waited for my delivery. But he laughed as if he had heard the world’s greatest joke. When he spoke, his voice was as cold as ice. “You’re still three days away from your delivery date! Enough with the pitiful act! Repent while you’re in the attic! This is what you get for making Rachel upset!” The contractions hurt so much that I clenched my fists to the point that my nails broke, but no one unlocked the door to the attic. My piercing screams echoed in the attic for a long time until my whole body was soaked in blood, and one of my babies was stuck between my bloody legs. Three days later, my husband ate his breakfast that was not up to his taste and said, “Have Jane make breakfast for me, then have her apologize to Rachel with a gift. If she’s sincere enough, I’ll send her to the hospital to deliver the babies.” But no one dared go up to the attic because the blood that flowed down from it had already reached the second step of the stairs.

Fighting The Mate Bond

Fighting The Mate Bond

My name is Kayla. You don’t know me, but you will. My parents are Isiah and Ava Black, and my father is the son of Mercury Black. He was the king of the mafia until he passed the title to my father, so now my dad goes on the collections just like my grandpa used to do, and sometimes I even go with him. Spike still comes on jobs, and so does my great grandfather, Hawk. Everything was going great. Everything was going brilliantly, just a little rogue problem every now and then, but that's about it, and it wasn't anything we couldn't handle. Dad sometimes comes back bloody from the collections, but I know that's normal since we are the mafia and werewolves. Then, one day, everything changed when Dad got a letter from some guy calling himself the lycan king. I thought that because my grandfather, Mercury, was a lycan and a werewolf and king of the mafia, he would naturally be the king of the lycans too, so we'd never heard of this so-called lycan king. However, he sure had heard about us and was asking for our help. If he is the king, how come he needs our help? I don’t trust this guy. Something is weird about him, and I don't like how I am drawn to him or how weird he makes me feel. I turn twenty in the human world in a few days, and that's when I'm meant to shift and find my mate too, so what's going to happen once I do? Everything is going to go crazy and turn to shit. Can I fight this until I figure out who he really is? Is he really the lycan king? Let's find out.
