“Out into the woods.”
“The woods?” Rosa repeated, dumbstruck. “Oh, that idiot.”
“What do you mean?” I asked, my eyes narrowed.
“They found a dead rogue out in the woods, early this morning. Maybe he went to take his anger out on it.”
“A dead rogue?” Samyak repeated.
“Yeah,” Rosa said, pouting her red lips in thought. “Why? Is that important?”
“There was one near Lapis Moon, too,” he said, his eyes glazing over, clearly deep in thought. I could almost see a multitude of potential patterns moving before his eyes as he rapidly analysed each possibly before him.
