He squeezes my breaths and brings up his head to stare into my eyes like he was trying so hard to peer into the very depths of my soul. His eyes were orange and there was something so animalistic about him. But the rubbing in my elbow whacked me out from daze. When I lifted my head, his sparkling blue orbs were the ocean-strong of every sky, infinite hues illuminated by newborn light. I can't deny its similarities with mine. My upturned eyes and his were a thousand hues of blue and a small touch of hazel radiating in softly swooping arcs. A chuckle pounced in my mouth. "Your eyes were the replica of my soul. From this day onwards, no one can hurt you." A deep roar was heard in every corner of this room which boosted up my laugh.

Daemon’s POV He hadn't changed a wink since the last time I saw him, which was years ago. He was still tall and lanky, those bright blue eyes taking the room with such ease, rare to find.
