“Is it the…?” Darrion pointed his index finger to the table and Jai followed his pointer. He could see a strange looking herb, like a coconut’s leaf but smaller, and the tip of it was blue and glowed in and out like a firefly. “Is that the—“ “Blue-tip Fern. It’s here,” Darrion smiled. Jai grinned in response and observed the table once more. “There are more than fifteen, what, bouquet over there. Do you think we’re going to use them all?”

I pointed to a variety of pale blue blossoms. “Hmm. Those are Silver Lilies,” the planner said, tapping her chin. “They would complement the color scheme, but they’re a Werewolf flower, not a Lycan flower…” I glanced at Isaac. “Despite everything, I am still a Werewolf.” Even if I don’t feel like much of one these days, I thought, but I didn’t say that out loud. “Maybe it wouldn’t hurt to represent my culture a bit. Might even be good for relations.”

“How many people have you killed, Blue... Iris?” Her eyes suddenly widened, lips parted, then she gulped, but the gun remained pressed against my groin. “H-how d-did you know?” Her question was hesitant and wary. Huh! I could distract her. “My mom had a flower shop. Of all the flowers, she chose iris to bring home every day and placed it in my room. As annoying as it is, I liked the blue one. Your eyes are blue like an iris flower. They remind me of her.”

The Blue Egyptian water lily was always my favorite. I remember seeing them as a child and thinking they were so beautiful.” she sighed.

With a determined expression, she points to her selection, signaling her choice. Finrir, after a moment of consideration, nods toward an oxyplant featuring oval leaves. Its unique characteristics catch his attention, and he feels a connection to it. Tritan's attention turns to a particular oxyplant, recognizing it as his sister's favorite. With one of its many ancestors being an orchid, this oxyplant boasts vibrant purple blooms speckled with bioluminescent patterns.

I pick a petal from the flower, crushed it inside the bowl and mixed it until it was almost refined. "Wait, aren't those like.....deadly?" Isaac asks, upon seeing the flower on the table and what I've crushed into the bowl. "Could be" I shrugged as if it didn't matter, casting a glance at Collin who was still there just glaring at me. Lilium 'Stargazer' is a hybrid lily, it's not necessarily dangerous to humans. I have used it many times to make tea, and it is one of my favorite of the said plant family. It's scent is sweet and calming, I mostly grow these types, along with Madonna lily, my two favorites.

And I knew I was dreaming because this place existed only in my dreams. The Healing Valley behind my palace was a failed attempt to recreate this place. Because I could never remember the details of this dream or the color of the flowers when I woke up. And the only flowers that survived hell’s soil were the spider lilies.

POV Eleanor The doctor gave me bad news about my vision. I swallowed hard, and for a moment, I panicked. King Alpha was discussing with his Beta a strategy to find the antidote to this poison. The problem was that the antidote was contained in the stem of the plant. The blue Lebanese lily releases a powder made of silver sulfate; it is an aquatic plant, and underneath it, there is a substance in the stem that neutralizes the poison. I took a deep breath and felt someone approaching again. This plant was extinct, and Alpha Gideon was frustrated because he didn't know where to start looking.
