In a few minutes, we left the cave and moved away from the faint outline of the moon above the pond. About an hour later, we were back at the foot of the Blue Fangs and found ourselves surrounded by shrubs. This is going to make rearranging the garden more difficult. There are apple trees planted along the back of the fence, there are blueberry and strawberry bushes. Countless herbs and flowers. There are even more fruits and vegetables growing. They all seem to be happy and thriving but Elle is correct that something seems to be slowing them down just a little bit. The plant that is the furthest behind is a blueberry bush. Might as well start there I guess.

When I woke the next morning, I walked downstairs to get a cup of coffee after doing my morning routine and decided to go out to the back yard and see if we have any more berries to pick. As I walked through the yard with my coffee cup in my hand, I started seeing black, or dark, dots mixed in with the green leaves. I have ripe berries! Shit! I forgot something to carry them in! I walked back into the house and grabbed a bucket from under the island, then walked back out to the bushes. I noticed that we have ripe blackberries and blueberries. I decided to pick the blueberries first, and I would make pancakes with them. After I finish the pancakes, I will come back outside and pick the blackb
