Alex pulled Liam back as ice spears erupted from below. Jake intercepted one mid-air—shattering it with a strike that echoed like a gunshot. Lucien raised a hand and the air itself slowed. [Xavier’s POV] There was a wolf in the woods. Its fur was a mixture of a flame-like blue colour, matching the colour of its icy blue eyes which seemed all too familiar, and a sparkling white colour which shone like stars in the night sky. Upon meeting my gaze, the wolf turned around and began to run further deep into the woods.

I swallowed nervously and paused as he began writing on the document. "Faelon's mother is a hybrid. Do you know Raven Volkov?" He inquired curiously and I shrugged. "I know a Zurac Volkov from the blood wars,'' I replied and Lucifer nodded telling me that Zurac was Faelon's grandfather and my eyes widened. Zurac had a fire wolf but that didn't explain Faelon's odd gifts. So I asked curiously, "How does Faelon have wings and blue bolts instead of flames?" Lucifer chuckled looking at Kasin.

“Then we carve one.” Barbie hovered higher, a halo of blue fire sparking from her hands. “You two have no idea how much I’ve missed a good massacre.” “Remind me never to piss off a fae,” Marigold muttered. “You won’t have to. You’re practically one now.” Before I could respond, the first Fang charged — feral, shrieking, claws raking the stone. We moved together — instinct, rhythm, fury. Marigold shifted mid-leap, her wolf bursting free in a blaze of dark fire and silver eyes. Barbie’s light flared, a storm of blue lightning that cracked through the mist and scorched the Fang to ash.

*Starblood Keep – Night* The great hall of Starblood had been cleared for war council again, the long table now scarred by claws and etched with hurried markings from a dozen frantic strategy sessions. Outside, the wind blew around the walls, carrying with it the smell of distant smoke—a reminder that Silver Fang’s reach was growing. Crystal stood at Ryder’s side, shoulder to shoulder with him as more Alphas filed in, their faces taut with exhaustion. He channeled his powers and a bright yellowish glow radiated off him and he fired a bolt at the eagle. The eagle could feel the power of the energy bolt streaking towards him and he shivered, screaming shrilly, "HELP, SIR! HELP!" The Beast Lords of Jiu You's horde all grimaced with annoyance. What shamelessness to an Olympic degree!

Her mate called out, “Don’t forget the dead ones.” She turned and smiled sadistically, showing off her silver fangs. “Oh, how could I forget? Rogues!” She started to command. “Jump in the fire and burn.” She unleashed a powerful aura, one that forced the three alphas to look down and away without so much as a word. As she turned, her mate ran over to her and grabbed her hand, rubbing the stench of that other alpha off of her. As the screams of the dying filled the air the SilverFang Pack marched out of the Blue Cresent Pack and back towards home.

Nicholas walked through the battlefield and stood before the limping Naster. “Is this all you got? Naster Fangs? Aren’t you the prideful product of science and nature?” Nicholas taunted. “Show me your true color murderer.” Naster could feel his blood boil in anger as he screamed in pain, his body burning, and soon lost his sanity as the soul of countless wolves took over his body.
