I'm just trying to get rid of something in my eyes.” I began to rub my eyes. Kael sighed, leaning back on the wall. “It's okay to express your emotions. But not for my situation, it can't be helped.” “It can be!” I shouted, unable to hold back the tears any longer. They rolled down my cheeks, my heart squeezing tight in pain. My shoulders shook, and I hiccuped twice as I sobbed.

Mom… I shout and shout but I can't hear my voice. And so, I feel a warm liquid touching the skin aroun my eyes. Damn, am I crying?

Jai asks. My eyes flash as I look at him. “Yes, I am. I have a right to be angry, and I can be. Would you want me to cry instead?”

It was at this point that Liam could not hold back his tears any longer. Tears welled in his bloodshot eyes, and his breath caught in his throat. His tears clung precariously to the corner of his eye before finally streaming down his face. Men were traditionally expected not to show their weakness, but how could they not when they were living, breathing humans capable of feeling emotions like everyone else?

When he finally said something, it was, "so, you've really not cried since you were six?" I simply shrugged in reply. "That's not right, Stephanie." "And why is that?" I asked between chuckles. "Because crying is a key way in expressing one's emotions. You feel something; something emotional - sad, happy, or bittersweet, and it moves you to tears. Not like you should cry every day or every week, but there are those moments that come once in a while."
