Bones And All Romane & Geschichten

he greeted. I groaned, “Why does everyone keep calling me that?” They shrugged, and began muttering to themselves, damn, this would have been a perfect time for my wolf hearing to come into use, but like the rest of me, it was defective. Bones faced me, a warm smile etched on his face “Your detox will be starting today princess.” “Detox?” “Yes.” He nodded, then continued, “the wolfsbane you've been fed has eaten deep into your body, killing your organs slowly too, basically it's a slow acting poison that's deeply buried.”

"Your bones are where they belong. Now stop thrashing like hooked fish." Zeyric slumped forward, resting his forehead against the cool wooden table as cold sweat dripped from his chin. "You said the bond is permanent. There has to be a way to dampen the trauma, or we won't last forty-eight hours against Malakor's enforcers."

The sound of bone clicking made me nervous that they might discovered us. But after a few minutes they stopped moving around the corpse and started to move together, soon enough I can feel that I have started moving, the sound of leather dragged on the ground getting louder and louder in the inside of the Boar monsters. I opened the gap a little bit more and saw, the Boar that hold Alehandro and Sasu also being dragged by the undead skeletons, they were dragged by 4 skeletons, guessing the normal compositions of the skeletal groups the one that dragged mine were probably consisted of 3 skeletons.

A gasp could be heard by everyone. Elder Rose shakes her head. “It is possible you are nearing the last year before the bond breaks even though you did not accept. It will be painful each time one of the bonds snaps, more so each time.” She hesitates, looking like she wants to say something but doesn’t “That's impossible. I never felt anything and I took back my rejection.”

aniya at naupo sa bakanteng upuan sa harap ko. Napakurap ako. Sandali. Inaral ko 'to. "Musculoskeletal system includes bones, muscles, tendons, ligaments and soft tissues..." I answered.

“My shovel hit on something I thought was a rock at first, until I pried it up.” Brad and Neisha exchanged a puzzled glance then Brad turned back to the landscaper. “What is it? Buried treasure?” “No, it’s that.” Mathew pointed toward an object next to one of the holes. It looked like a jagged stone, gray with clots of dirt still clinging to it. Brad stepped closer, bending over to get a better look . . . He gasped and backpedaled away when he realized what he was looking at. It wasn’t intact but rather partial; Brad could make out one eye socket and the nose hole, and on one side it curved down into part of the jaw bone.

Adea groaned as her body was battered by the fall. That was when she registered the pain in her ankle, which shot up her leg when she tried to move. She must have sprained it in the fall. She then remembered the cracking sounds and realized that she was lying on top of a nest of something small, narrow and hard. Adea reached underneath her to grab one of the objects. It was almost too dark to see anything, but there was no mistaking the rock-like texture of a bone. She was lying in the rotting remains of a Human skeleton.

"How can I help him?" "There's nothing you can do for him, Marelyn. We can only wait and see what happens next." "But he's a legacy werewolf! He's strong. Something like this can't destroy him." "The Bowl of Bones is the heart of dark magic. Its power is unmatched. Not even the moon goddess stands a chance against the dead. How the Ericksons got a hold of this power and created those bracelets will forever be a mystery."

he explains. "I think I'll be fine," I say brushing it off. "Gargoyle bones are made of different material, you know." "What?" says Bennet surprised. "What do you mean?" "I don't remember the exact specifications, but I know that our bones happen to be much tougher than any other beings' bones. I think they're as hard as diamonds if I remember correctly." "Really?" asks Bennet. I smile. "Really," I say, reaching up and brushing a bit of hair of his forehead. Bennet smiles down at me.

I shake her hand. I feel different. I feel braver and lighter. Maybe I can heal. Wounds will turn to scars. Scars remind us that our past is real. It's okay that it is real. Today I let Maria pull a band-aid off. That makes me hopeful that despite it all, the sun will keep on shining.
