Her brown irises scanned the words in the book one by one, trying to translate the very complex abstract patterns. Arva returns to the real world. She turned her head to find Noura rereading a book. During this one week, she had been trying not to ask, but this time, she couldn't contain her curiosity. "What exactly are you reading?" Noura showed the title of the book she was reading, letting Arva read it herself. "Vampire PowerBook?" Arva raised her eyebrows. "Aren't you already strong? I mean, have you mastered all the vampire science?"

Damon arrived at my office a few minutes later, a serious look on his face. "What's the issue about Ava?" I asked, gesturing for him to take a seat. Damon sat down, pulling out a small tablet from his pocket. He pressed a few buttons, and soon, a video began to play. “What's this about?” “Just watch for a few moments Alpha,” Damon chuckled then added. “People aren't what they seems” I watched as Ava appeared on the screen, walking through a mall. She stopped at a store, browsing through the racks before meeting a strange man. They exchanged a few words, and then Ava handed him a small book.

“Yes sir!” the men replied. Once more, Zephyr laid his eyes on the books, his gaze rested on one of them. The book was covered in a layer of dust and was made of bamboo. It looked unique. “Thunderfoot?” Zephyr muttered as he opened the book, reading its contents. A wave of excitement washed over him. He excitedly flipped through the pages, carefully memorizing the technique’s intricate steps.

It was shocking, frightening and overwhelming But slowly— very slowly, my lips curled into a smile. A vile one. Ava is a Werewarg. This wasn’t misfortune. This was an opportunity. I returned inside, gripping my book titled “The Devil’s Confession.” How fitting.
