From my Bully to CEO

From my Bully to CEO

A portal into a world I’d only ever read about in books. Now, I found excuses and gaps in my timetable to sneak in here. The only place where the whispers and the glares stopped, where I could just shut my brain off in peace. “Hale!” The librarian’s voice made me jolt. “You need to leave.” She was an older lady with greying hair and large spectacles that magnified her hawk like eyes. She reminded me of the librarian from Monsters University. “Yes,” I said quickly, scooping the thick history textbook in my arms. “I’m leaving. Just putting this back.”

“Marked as Property, Stolen by the Alpha”

“Marked as Property, Stolen by the Alpha”

There are very few things capable of making a librarian forget how to breathe. The Hall of Remembered Roads contained several of them. Most were books. Naturally. After visiting the golden tree, Alaric guided us deeper into the Hall. Past chambers filled with star maps. Past galleries recording journeys between worlds. Past archives so vast that even I felt pleasantly overwhelmed. Hope claimed she could hear books whispering. Noah claimed she was imagining it. The books chose that moment to fall off a shelf.

Colorless

Colorless

I still had to put up an act and visit the damn doctor daily. A thought suddenly hit me. They claimed there are no records of Amy's existence. Where do they keep the records? I turned around suddenly, catching Falcon off guard. He stared at me skeptically. "Is there a library?" *** The pack house library is a warm, dimly lit sanctuary tucked away on the second floor, lined wall-to-wall with towering shelves of worn leather-bound books. The scent of old paper mingles with polished oak, and a crackling fireplace casts a soft amber glow across plush armchairs and a long reading table. Large windows overlook the forest, their heavy curtains drawn just enough to let in silver threads of sunlight,

Lycans of Lunar Isle

Lycans of Lunar Isle

I declined his offer for a ride and decided to shift, letting my wolf race through the densely packed forest that took up nearly half the island. It probably had something to do with this top-secret mission of his and Jude’s. If he didn’t feel the need to tell me, then I wasn’t going to pry. I had gone through several textbooks over the past few days and wanted something a bit more in depth than potions. The stacks within the library spanned on and on, going deeper and deeper with no end in sight. Running my trembling fingers along the spines, I skimmed the various titles as I walked, but nothing was piquing my interest. Pretty soon the light classical music the librarian played faded into t

What can I say? Jane Doe has done it again! A beautiful compelling suspenseful romantasy with all the things I love! It’s not even completed but I can’t wait for more! Dark mysterious alluring witch/werewolves with sexy compelling characters that draw you in and make you drool!
Krystal
I’ve read lots of supernatural books but this one is the best I’ve read! It’s got little bit of everything, it deserves way more recognition than it has gotten. Jane out did herself with these last two new books . Extremely talented writer. Give this book a shot you won’t regret it.

Forgotten Embers

Forgotten Embers

On another such occasion shortly thereafter, my work brought me to the southwestern region past Laoce, and on my return from the mountains to Pyre, I was stopped by a group of bandits who identified themselves as having been paid to ensure my unsafe passage. She turned the page over and stopped, her eyes straying to an image down below. It was an old photograph printed in black of a group of dignitaries gathered beneath the portico of a large building with a familiar phrase inscribed. Library, for the Betterment of Public Hearts "The library..." she breathed, astonished. 'No. But the librarian told me that the library had burned; it was destroyed and all the books were lost.' She touched the

Rejected While Pregnant: The Masked Alpha's Luna Queen

Rejected While Pregnant: The Masked Alpha's Luna Queen

Kael said, leading her inside. Just as Bianca and Nora had suggested, the day did turn out adventurous. They didn’t talk about past issues. The fire issue wasn’t brought up. Kael thanked her for the wine and even opened one, but Liora couldn’t drink it, so something else was brought for her. All morning, the Veyron couple spent time exploring the old archives of the pack library, something no one would have ever dreamed could ever happen. By the time noon showed itself, Liora had over a hundred books picked out to read.

Coming of Age the Fast Way

Coming of Age the Fast Way

She didn’t get it. He was wrong, but I didn’t contradict him. I wanted to ask if the position was salaried, or did the Master of the Horse have to keep himself. Of course, he wasn’t paid, so the next question would have been, 'So why didn’t he get a proper job and contribute to the wealth of the nation?' Just as well I bottled the first question! And then to the library. I love libraries. This one had amazing light oak carvings around the shelving. Closer study revealed them to be perfectly symmetrical with repeating patterns, and acres of it, so I nearly choked when she announced, 'All hand carved by a local man.'

The Luna and Her 4 Mates

The Luna and Her 4 Mates

Instead, I decided to go to the library that I hadn’t been to yet. I walked in and there was no one there. So people could just go in and take a book if they wanted, but there were tables and chairs, computers and couches set up everywhere. It was actually a really big library for an army base. I started searching through the books until I finally found the ones that I was looking for. The books that had documented white wolves over history. Werewolves were notorious for keeping records and I was glad that they had these books on white wolves.

Shift

Shift

I adjusted my backpack and headed up the extensive stairs that were in front of the large library. It was the biggest building in the area, and it held most of the pack’s history from the time the pack was founded. There weren’t just the normal books that you would see in a non-shifter library but a bunch of magical tomes as well. It was still pretty early but the librarian I knew opened at 6:00 a.m. for the local college kids who needed to prep for their early classes. Slipping in, there was a college aged she-wolf sitting at front desk. Leaning forward, I smiled at her.

I was debating on giving it 4 stars because there is a lot of spelling errors. There is also a dead point but around chapter 70 it picks up speed fast. It definitely keeps you hooked with all the twists and turns. Great story line. Abrupt ending but I hope a sequel has started

I LOVED Sky’s story! Such an incredible read!!! I wish we heard where her friends/bandmates ended up but still. Praying for a second to see what happens with Heath and how Ethan (and hopefully Justin) deal with all that will be thrown at them!
