The Alpha's Prickly Porcupine

The Alpha's Prickly Porcupine

"I need to collect my things. My mother's journals. The few heirlooms that survived the fire. You cannot just erase my life like it’s a ledger entry." He narrows his eyes, a flicker of genuine irritation crossing his handsome, chiseled face. He steps into my space, his sheer proximity forcing me to tilt my head back just to meet his piercing, unreadable gaze. He smells of scorched pine and something metallic, like a coming storm. "There is nothing left, Aichonne. The fire took it all. The wood, the silk, the history. Your sentimentality is a luxury, and in this war, it is a liability we cannot afford."

Ember Academy

"Can you read any of it?" "Some." He turned another page, and another, and then stopped, his breath catching audibly in the quiet library. "Here. This survived." Sera looked where he pointed, and even in the dim light, even with half the page scorched black and unreadable, one line remained clear, ink dark and certain against the ruin around it. The old fire does not burn the world. It burns the lies. "What does that mean?" Sera's voice had dropped to barely more than breath. "The old fire, that's what you called mine before, isn't it? The Founder's fire?"

THE FIRE LORD

THE FIRE LORD

What if it was true and not just some wild thought “Then I’ll pick you up jeez, you won’t even waste your car’s fuel” Rumors have it that if your blood is mutated, you get killed at night and your body is never found. I jumped up in fright after reading that, what if I’m mutated and I get killed “I’m having none of this” I whispered “Dude really?” I heard Sebastian grumble. I then remembered that I was speaking to someone on the phone “Uhm, you were saying?” I asked in an apologetic tone

My entire body suddenly feels like it is on fire. Not hot. Not warm. Burning. It feels like every inch of me has been set aflame from the inside.

The Heir's Secret

The Heir's Secret

“You think I don’t know what he’s doing? I helped him draw the blueprints.” Julian blinked. She smiled. “You’re not the only heir playing a long game, Mr. Vince.” And that was when he realized: she wasn’t Crane’s weakness. She was his legacy. — Back in New York – Same Night Clarissa slammed the door open into the safehouse. “Aiden,” she called out. He looked up from his laptop, eyebrows furled. “What happened?” She held up a burner phone. “Emergency message. One of our contacts from Legal just went dark. But before that—he sent a code. It matches a set of offshore files buried under your dad’s name.”

The Haven Of Shadows

How he brought down an empire with a single roar and burned a third of the vampire dominion in the space of a night. They think they killed that line. Buried it with fire and silence. But they didn’t know… The last heir was hidden in blood. And born into a storm. I close the cabinet, locking it with an incantation. Then I reach for my journal. Kingdom of Ash and Blood

Kingdom of Ash and Blood

She read aloud: “If the girl survives the fire, she will inherit the ash. If the boy follows, blood will open the gates. And if the queen chooses both, the world burns clean.” Mateo stared at the line. “We’re not just heirs.” “No,” Amara said. “We’re weapons.” Scene Five – Echoes of the First Heir A panel clicked open in the wall. Inside, a skeleton — still dressed in the robes of a cardinal. A ring on his finger bore the Vesper mark. Cassian pried a second journal from the corpse’s grip. Inside: the original Vesper heir’s thoughts.

Dragon’s Mark:His Dragonheart Mate

Dragon’s Mark:His Dragonheart Mate

They stepped through. Suddenly, Rowan was somewhere else—an ancient chamber lit by floating scrolls and glowing roots. The air smelled of parchment and ash. The walls pulsed like veins in a creature older than time. “This is the Chamber of Flamekeepers,” the Oracle said. “Where prophecy waits.” Rowan stared at the scrolls. Hundreds hovered in midair, some sealed in golden bands, others burned at the edges. One drifted toward them, as if called. The Oracle caught it mid-air and unraveled it slowly. “The mark has appeared. The Fireborn Heir has awakened. And the Dragonheart… has returned.”

I love this book! The author has done a great job with the whole series. I believe you could read this book on its own, but it's worth starting with Timber Alpha and reading in order. Just remember to come back to this book before continuing with Mylo.

Exceeded my expectations. After reading the Timber Alpha, I wasn't sure this could live up to the first book. It totally did. Beautiful and brilliant twist in the Bonus chapters that totally made me cry.
