Blurred Promises

Blurred Promises

We can go” Anne arrived to meet us and smiled, without noticing the heavy atmosphere there. “Did you agree to go out? “ Dereck looked at Anne. “ Yes, let's see a photographer. “We better go, before it gets late” I said, looking at the clock, not seeing the time to leave this damn house. I took a few steps forward and Dereck had his eyes on me. “What's on your neck, is it hurt? “ Derek asked seriously. I fixed the collar of my blouse, remembering one of the marks Jackson left on me during sex. I wore a slightly high-necked blouse, but I forgot to put makeup on over it to cover it up and to be honest, I didn't think it was that visible.

started Granny, gently putting Marjorie back to bed, “the scar on your stomach was no more than a Gourche.” ‘Right.’ Blame massaged her temple. ‘I already know that, though.’ “No, I don’t think so.” They looked at Kleint as though he’d gone mad, contradicting and all, but it was nothing to the way Blame felt conscious once the purple glint of his eyes scrutinized her. At first, it was just the simple tint, but then three single quotes circled the purple of his irises, a round line moving circularly. Blame found it hard to look away, especially when his eyes were tainted with magenta, though the hint of royal purple was ever-apparent.

Probably the most challenging story I have written. With about 5 drafts and two years of crafting, it’s my longest work. It’s thrilling. I revisit it sometimes and, he, even I get overwhelmed and awed. I mean, it feels like I’m not the one who wrote it.

I love the world building of this novel! Even when you’re only in chapter one you can already see how the author meticulously planned the settings of the story. It’s descriptive so even if the world is new and unfamiliar the readers could still easily imagine what it’s like.

MY CEO HUSBAND'S REGRET

MY CEO HUSBAND'S REGRET

She took a large sip as she browsed through the brochures. A few minutes later, she had checked all the brochures. She stood and was about to walk out when she felt the room spin. Grabbing the table, she tried to stabilize but her vision was blurry. She wasn't feeling like herself and when she looked up, she found Blake standing with a smile on his face, “You're one easy bitch! I'm going to have a great time with you!”

I really really love the story and I enjoyed it all the way from the beginning when Ethan was oblivious to the end when he became caring. I also love Natalie and Zane and love the fact that their story was told. Thank you so much author for this amazing story ...

And if I am not mistaken, did he just blush or something? He is still looking away, like there is something he is looking at and he is interested in it. But he is just looking at the rode obviously trying to avoid my eyes. His long beautiful eyelashes flex as he look at an opposite direction. The color of his eyes also brighten. It also highlighted the angle of his sharp jaws, and the pinkish color of his cheeks. His rep lips are looking so sweet- NO! What the freak Amira, stop! I slightly shook my head as I try to remove my worldly desires. Damn! Stop fantasizing!

Burned Lines

Burned Lines

I connected my phone and let the screen glow to life. For a while, I just scrolled—Instagram, texts, mindless nothing—filling Jade in on my apparent life sentence one message at a time. Her rapid-fire responses came through in all caps and rage emojis, which only made me snort softly into the quiet room. Eventually, though, the weight of the day caught up to me. My eyes burned. My fingers slowed. The screen blurred as my eyelids drooped lower and lower, each blink lasting a little longer than the last.

Blurred Lines

It was the wind that caused the squeaking sound of the door as it penetrated the open window. A curtain blows over the desk of the man seated behind it. It slips back now and then when the wind changes direction. The figure in the chair before him lays out his work in front of him. The light of the lamp on his desk juxtaposes the reflection of light on his face. Half of his face is covered in shadow and the other is visible in the light. His eyesight allows him to see his face clearly. His twelve-year-old body quivers, as his father is in front of him. In one hand, he has a class of scots, and in the other a revolver. As a result of the distortion and conflict inside his head, the knuckles o

THE LAST WEIRD

THE LAST WEIRD

And who would have thought that he would get the answer not long after reading the book? Hearing Xander's words, they immediately closed the shirt. The first image they saw was a slightly blurred sketch of an object shaped like glass but slightly wide. The writing was also a little blurry, indicating that the book seemed to be an old book that had been around for so long. The display was also a bit dusty, but since the writing was still legible, they approached.

Infrastructure. I open the image at full size and zoom in until the pixels begin to fracture into blocks. The background is blurred, but not naturally. Not the smooth blur of a shallow depth of field. This is digital blur—compression artifacts, the kind you get from a long zoom and a cheap export. But the camera wasn’t cheap. I can tell by the way the highlights behave, by the way the edges hold detail before they degrade.

Entangled With The Merciless Mafia Don

Entangled With The Merciless Mafia Don

Badly. "Relax, sir… relax..." Another voice this time. Softer. A woman’s voice. Calmer, smoother. It cut through the chaos in my head like a warm knife through ice. But my vision was still blurred, smudged like rain on glass. I could barely make out the figures around me. Just shadows. Shapes. Echoes of familiarity. I blinked hard, trying to force clarity. It didn’t work. I lifted my hand and rubbed it over my eyes, slow and deliberate, wincing as even that slight movement triggered another surge of pain through my arm. The haze began to lift, gradually.
