Book Borrowed Time Novels & Stories

Sandra's phone call came at exactly the right time. I glanced at the name on his screen and smiled. "You should go take care of that first. We don't need to discuss this right now." Max turned the doorknob. As if to make up for it, he looked back and made another promise. "I'll definitely go to the old house to see you tomorrow." The next day, he still broke that promise. I sat on the couch in the old house with my head lowered. I stared at my phone. There were twelve hours left for the countdown.

Carter stopped at the door, turned back to look at my living room where he could still hear James singing to himself, where August's books were still stacked on the floor from their reading session. "Grace." His voice was barely there. "Thank you. I don't have words for what this was. For what you let me have today." "It was two hours. It's not that big of a deal." But I heard how unconvincing it sounded. It was a huge deal and we both knew it. "It was everything." Carter was still holding the space dog book. "Can I really borrow this? I promise I'll take care of it." "Yes. August doesn't offer that lightly. He's trusting you with it." I crossed my arms. "Don't make him regret it."

I took a deep breath, picked up an eraser, and threw it into the empty space in front of me. Three seconds later, I heard her yelp in pain. I immediately grabbed the opportunity to speak. "Quiet down for a second. Listen to me. I'm human, and you're human too. "We're probably experiencing something like a time-space distortion. "Not only can our belongings be transferred to each other, but our voices can pass through too." The girl slapped her thigh after the sudden realization. "That explains why I've lost a bunch of things lately and gained a bunch of random things too."

I'm almost at the end of the book that I found a while ago, I'm slowly getting bored as time passes by for it was only useless but what can I do? I need to find something and I can't just discard this book and find another clue without checking all the pages in it. I wasn't really reading it, I was just flipping it till I reached the three-fourth of it. I'm only reading the last and the first sentence to check something that is not connected in it and that is when the content suddenly changed and all of it seems to not be completed. The first ones are about predictions of the past people of what the future will be but this seems to just be added here by someone. I think this book has been ex

My school library keeper always say that I have a special form of Curiosity. There was a day I borrowed a book, I read the whole book with fifty three chapters in less than two days. I returned the book and borrowed the book 2 for that book, just like the first book that has fifty three chapters, this second one also has the same number of chapters whereby one chapter has about two thousands plus words.

She carried her tray and immediately approached the table beside the glass window. This girl looks athletic and nerdy at the same time, I thought. I watched her open her black Jansport bag, and from it pulled out a book. She started reading the book positioning it inches away from her face. I noticed the cover of the book shows a little girl wearing black skirt, long white socks and black school shoes. The little girl is standing with, I think it’s an adult man’s shoes beside her and some clothes. From what I see the title of the book she is reading is called, The Time Traveler’s Wife.

I unzip my school bag and place the book inside. ‘W-what are you doing, Magnus? You can’t take the book. It would be -s-stealing.’ ‘I’m just borrowing it for now. I’ll return it once we break the curse, okay?’ ‘I guess.’ ‘Time to get out of here.’ I say. We blow the candles out and open the door ajar. Once the coast is clear, I walk out and distract the librarian again with more flirting while Pipsqueak locks up the room and returns the keys.

Clarisse and I went out of the E-classroom together, but later we parted ways since I still had to drop by the library to return the book I borrowed last time. I enjoyed reading some books in the library, that I forgot that I'd been there for two hours already, and it was time for me to go home. I looked at my watch, and it was already 5 p.m. I hurriedly went outside and headed towards the parking lot. I took the keys to my Toyota Fortuner and started the engine.

"Yes. The record book is a book that automatically records all the borrowed books with the student's name and date. Lucky us that it too has a Hogwarts' Library Stamp on it." Susan explained. Madam Pince still had wide eyes and seemed frozen. All these years, she had been manually taking notes of all borrowed books from the library. But she was just human, and surely some students managed to take books without her noting it. At least most of them were brought back. Susan then snapped her fingers in front of the woman's face to wake her up from her daydreams. It worked. Madam Pince looked at Susan, as if asking 'what?'.

It was the time most people would walk out of the library and would go to the book racks to keep their books back. He went back to his table with head down sad after about 5 minutes. It was his turn but oh well. "20 minutes more baby, then there's nobody who can stop us" the text popped. I will not lie my pussy was already dripping wet from the previous little corner action and imagining him fucking my wet pussy making it worse. It was 8.15 pm. The guard announced closing time at 8.30 pm. People dispersed to keep their books back, some went to him to borrow or return books.
