Moments and Memories

Moments and Memories

Evelina pulled a book out of her bag that she borrowed earlier in the school library. BAM!!! The thumping sound of the book she put on her desk, sounded very loud because the book was quite heavy and thick. Evelina checks the book and she realizes that she borrowed so much. She didn’t expect that the books borrowed by her were enough. So, no wonder Rissa commented on this morning. “Let’s see what books I just borrowed ...,” murmured while sorting out the book. “There’s a Sherlock Holmes novel, Her Last Word, A Time Return, ... and finally you’re my butterfly?”

BEYOND TIME BOOK 1 (TRILOGY) LOVE DRAMA

BEYOND TIME BOOK 1 (TRILOGY) LOVE DRAMA

The teacher said it was on the middle shelf right in the middle row a year, I went to where the teacher told me the books were, sometimes I looked at her because she is wearing shorts that show her legs well, then I asked the teacher a question, I wanted to know if the school had a collection of books and I said the name for her and she told me she did, that's when she asked Kris to show me where the books I wanted are. -Kris, can you show the teacher where the books are, please, then she got up. I fixed the shorts and showed me the wave of the books, at this time I took her hand and looked into her eyes she stood there looking at me, she gaped, It was at this time that I spoke...

The Bank's Mistake, My Payback Time

The Bank's Mistake, My Payback Time

I had come to withdraw five thousand. But that idiot Jessie had turned my withdrawal into a deposit. I glanced back at the bank's entrance, then at the metal plaque displayed prominently that said, "Cash must be counted on the spot; the bank is not responsible once you leave the counter." I used to think those words were harsh. Now? They were the cutest thing in the world. If you insist on rules, fine. I'll play by your rules—carefully. I didn't go straight home. At a time like this, going home to sleep would be pure foolishness.

Borrow My Car Daily? Enjoy My Divorce Papers

Borrow My Car Daily? Enjoy My Divorce Papers

"Understood, Ms. Callahan. It'll take effect within ten minutes." ... Julian's idea of revenge was laughably pathetic, coming in even dumber than I imagined. At 3:00 pm, I was flipping through the financial reports of my family business in a luxury hotel suite when the door was pounded on violently. My bodyguards opened the door, and Elliot charged inside like a manic wild beast. His eyes were bloodshot, and his tie was askew. Clearly, he had suffered a tremendous shock.

The Alpha King and I

The Alpha King and I

Later, I pushed the cart and put each book back on its shelf. Afterward, I checked the list of book borrowers. I was responsible only for the book collections (the new books and express books) though the library also had DVDs, VCDs, VHSs, etc. The loan period for new books was two weeks, while it was a week for express books. If any borrowers exceeded the loan period by three days, I would email them to remind them to return the books or extend the borrowing period. It was 11.35 a.m. when I finished sending the emails. The first visitor came to return the books at noon, and I placed them on my table. I would return them later to the bookshelves.

Borrowed Guilt

Borrowed Guilt

"Babe, where are you going today?" Wesley Snyder's eyes flickered with panic the moment he saw me packing. Without thinking, he reached out and grabbed the handle of my suitcase. "Did you forget what day it is? "I already bought all the groceries. What kind of stunt is this?" I slowly lifted my head. Sweat was already beading on Wesley's forehead. "Our one-year anniversary. I know," I said calmly. "However, the company just called me in for a business trip. I don't have a choice."

The Alpha & His Eccentric Luna

The Alpha & His Eccentric Luna

"You should leave this mess for us. Some of the students come here in afterhours to work. Let me have something for them to work for." "Ummm…," After contemplating for a couple of seconds, I gave up before the old man. "Alright, as long as you let me borrow this one." I picked the last book I was reading and waved it in the air. It would be better if I could finish this one earlier than I was planning to, so that I could move on to the next. He stared at the cover of the book as his eye turned misty for the briefest of time. Within the flick of the wrist, he was back to his smiling self.

Really love the introduction. The story and the characters are really interesting, which makes me more and more interested in knowing what happens after that. So I'm looking forward to reading more. To new readers who are still wondering whether to read or not, just go for it. Totally recommended.

Red Moon Girl: Bride of the Lycan King

Red Moon Girl: Bride of the Lycan King

"Forget it if you don't feel like doing it. Give me your phone!" "Why should I give my cell phone?" "Because I don't have a cell phone with me. I want to check the time." She innocently took out her cell phone and looked at the clock on the wallpaper. At that time, I immediately took the cell phone from Jonea's hand. I started typing my cellphone number on Jonea's cellphone. When I finished, I returned the phone to her. "Call me anytime if you want to borrow this book." "I don't want to!" answered Jonea firmly.

Puck Me Hard

Puck Me Hard

I could spend the rest of my life in this library, reading everything here. I could afford these books, buy them and keep them forever. But something about buying them outright made it feel too…real. My father was the kind of man who thought reading literature was pointless and soft. If he ever found out how much I actually loved it, it’d open a can of worms I wasn’t ready for. It was bad enough that I didn’t enjoy hockey as passionately as he wanted me to. I didn’t need another lecture about “wasting my time” on “books that don’t mean anything.” There would be a lot of arguments where he’d grill me as to why I spent my free time reading instead of practicing. It was just a lot of questions

His Mate, But Not His Luna

His Mate, But Not His Luna

Alden raised an eyebrow when I suddenly fell silent. “I don’t think I’ll be able to bring the book with me.” “Why?” “Because I can’t leave the library with it.” I gave him a sheepish look. “I left home without any money, and I didn’t bring a letter from Alpha Samuel. The librarian won’t let me take any of the books outside.” “Oh.” Alden glanced at the book before walking back toward me. He took it gently from my hands. “The librarian knows me. I come here almost every week.” He nodded toward the desk. “Let me speak to him. But I’ll be the one borrowing the book. You’ll bring it to me tomorrow, and I’ll return it myself.”

i will honestly never understand what readers really like, cheating partners that they'll take back, damsel in distress waiting for a man who treated her badly to them tret her good... like how fucked up are women in general. not my kind of book, but it seemed like a really nice story.

It’s truly an amazing story. The suspense and emotions feel so real, and both the FL and ML are strong, relatable characters with great depth. One of the best things is that the story never feels dragged out like many others. Every chapter keeps you hooked and it’s absolutely worth reading!
