Jax looks like he never got to bed last night because he is either drooling over the books or passing out with his head extended back over the chair's backrest. And Oliver is stiffer than a broomstick, moving around like an old rusty robot needing its hinges to be oiled.
Taking a deep breath, I return my focus to the book pages. They are great warriors, but if I have to rely on them to figure out how to stop me from dying, then I better start building my own casket because these two won't make the cut.
