I got up from the bed and walked around the room, still no pain, how weird. I noticed the bookshelf and decided to take a look. There were so many books, some with older worn covers and others a bit more newer looking. I picked up a small red book and read the cover ‘A Lycanthropy Reader; WEREWOLVES IN WESTERN CULTURE’. I returned a favoring smile to her by doing it genuinely before I took the book on her soft palm, an almost thick book with a blue cover. The book is heavy. On the front cover, there is a closed eye with long black thick lashes in a form of feathers placed inside a pentagon. Outside the badge has a wonderful abstract ocean and sunrise. Quite cryptic if you asked me. The brittle pages rustled as I continued to flip through; “Long ago, there was a battle that raged on between demons,” my brows knitted in confusion as I closed the book and read the back cover just in case, why was I reading about demons? The book had a wolf picture in front, imposing and strong looking, how come it talked about demons instead? Placing the book back on the shelf as it wasn't the one I was looking for when I stopped midway, I thought maybe to give the book another chance, it was just a feeling though.
