It was already too late to escape. I looked at the approaching cars as the first one pulled up in front of me. The doors opened, and I was engulfed in Antonio's familiar scent. "Blair! thank goodness you're okay." Antonio beamed, pressing me into his chest for a relieving hug. I was quickly huddled into the back seat of the SUV alongside Antonio. "Tell me everything that happened." Antonio asked softly. I didn't even know where to start. I told him everything, how I was kidnapped by rogues, and how I was rescued by my mate Aiden Casanova.

My breathing is becoming more rapid as I imagine an intoxicated Kristen alone on the road, staggering with the intention of returning home. Not until I notice her phone on the study table beside the dressing mirror. Then it hits me like a tonne of bricks. My mate has been kidnapped.
