Book Lyle Lyle Crocodile Novels & Stories

Lucy cleared her throat while she took off her jacket. "So did you get it?" King Kanyon asked her. “Totally, dude. Look at her, she got it alright," Cameron winked. "Am I right or am I right?" He chuckled. "Can you not be a pervert right now?" Kanyon barked. "Sorry," Cam whispered under his breath. "Of course I got it," Lucy plucked an old leather book out of her bag. It had strange symbols on the thick, burgundy cover. It looked as if it weighed a ton with pages the colour of ash.

Cayd continues, then looks up at Buppig. “Exactly the same,” he says, jumping up and racing to the ladder. He’s climbing to the top when Lily walks in. “How’s it going?” “My Queen, have a seat. Alpha Cayden, show her,” Buppig says, his excitement evident. “What is it?” Lily says, as excited as Buppig is. Cayd points to the part in the book that Buppig was reading and reads the passage from my book as Lily’s eyes get wider and wider.

"Not in this entry. I haven't found any other mention so far." "Cause you're not looking up the right topic. Try this book." We all turn and see Lewana placing a large old book on the table. It has to be hundreds of years old. She opens it to a page in the middle and points to a section for Willow. Willow quickly walks over to read it. Willow quickly closes it to look at the cover while keeping the place in the book Lewana had opened. "The power of Lycans." Willow starts to read aloud.

I whisper back, and Lily nods like she understands exactly what I mean. During reading time, I discovered that Oakwood Academy has more books than I've ever seen in one place. There are books about dolphins and princesses and families from all over the world. When Mrs. Peterson asks us to pick our favorites, I choose three: one about a little girl who saves her family from a scary dragon, one about dolphins who protect their pod from sharks, and one about a grandmother who teaches her granddaughter about magic. "Those are excellent choices, Emma," Mrs. Peterson says. "Do you like to read about families and protecting people?"

Leyla before we both moved toward the wooden study tables. Pelin placed the book down with a thud, it was heavy. A faint scent of old parchment wafting into the air. “What is it?” I asked, leaning in closer as she flipped open the heavy cover. “It’s called Beçin Chronicles: A History of the Byzantine Castle and Its Mythical Beings,” she said, her voice hushed, as if someone might sneak up on us, hiding behind the shelves of the library, eavesdropping uninvited.

“Can I have my library book back?” I looked under the shelf and tensed when I spotted The Legend of Lycaon gleaming in the shadows like some ancient relic waiting to be discovered. I picked it up, held it out, and gestured toward it. “Why do you want this?” This was not just any book. This was a Greek mythology text about the first lycan. Clara drew in a sharp breath and chewed the inside of her lip, meeting my eyes for only a second before looking away as if she feared my reaction. “Because I do …”

Lilly 4 more days later I could hear people talking. I couldn’t make out the words but I could hear voices. I wanted to ask them to be quiet. I was really tired and just wanted to sleep. I tried to open my eyes to see them but I couldn’t do it. I tried lifting my hand but it felt so heavy I gave up. The voices were getting louder like someone was yelling. Someone sounded very mad. What was happening? Who was talking? I feel like I should know the angry voice but I could place it. Maybe a little more rest and I would be able to figure it out. Yea, I just needed some more rest.

Gabby left and came back a while later with a big book titled, 'THE LEGENDS OF BIGFOOT" Huh? Bigfoot?! She rose her head and opened her mouth to say something but caught Gabby looking from her face to the book in quick successions. She was trying to tell her something. Bigfoot wasn't actually Bigfoot? Maybe this was another book that might help her. She discreetly nodded and Gabby smiled. "I'm sorry this library couldn't help much but I hope you really enjoy this one. Page 138 has a very funny paragraph, check it out." Eleanor nodded. "Sure, thanks."

Lex was perplexed, a book? Lex drew the drawer compartment out completely. Books. He picked one of them. THE DAVINCI CODE. He skimmed through, his eyes twinkled at this new found discovery. Books. He picked another. THE GREEK MYTHOLOGY. Lex's senses were tingling. Hurriedly, he picked up five books, replaced the drawer compartment and went to his room. If mum asks what happened to the door, I'd tell her it was burglars. * * *
