The Return of the War Legate

The Return of the War Legate

He walked toward Jerome and led him to sit on a boulder with him. Adrian said, “We use the word ‘hero’ to address those who have contributed, but do you know that heroes have been misunderstood throughout history? They’re always lonely, just like Saul had been. Do you know why that is?” Jerome shook his head and looked at Adrian with naivety as he said, “No.” Adrian smiled. “That’s because they always do their best and devote all their efforts to what their hearts tell them to do. Hence, they hide everything inside and aren’t skilled in socializing with others. They’re destined to be lonely.”

My Hero Crush

My Hero Crush

"Wow, have you ever been a superhero? Tell me!" Tell the story? I won't! The main characters of the rescue action were Kenan and his friends, so instead of upsetting Adipati by mentioning Kenan's name, I shouldn't mention it. "What a boring story, I won't tell you!" He took a deep breath, then pulled me to sit on the sofa, and embraced me tenderly.

The Real Heroine of His Proposal

The Real Heroine of His Proposal

It was met with overwhelming acclaim. However, I didn’t let the fame change me. I packed my bag and began traveling the world. The best designs came from life—and there was so much more of the world left to see. I left my past behind. The future was where I needed to be. My love with Charlie had once been pure. Beautiful, even. And that memory would remain safely locked away, cherished in the heart of the twenty-year-old girl named Isabel Langdon.

THE VILLAINESS REMEMBERED ME:In Every Timeline, She Chose De

"The novel would have had him be the hero. The one who saves the day, who wins the girl, who rides off into the sunset. But that's not who he is. He is the one who stands at the door and waits. Who asks questions. Who does the work that no one sees." Clara thought about Aldric at the Foundation entrance, patient and alert, asking no questions and keeping his post. She thought about his inquiry, his careful documentation, his refusal to look away. "That is its own kind of heroism," Clara said. "The kind that doesn't get written about. The kind that happens in the margins." Lysa looked at her with the expression she wore when she was deciding whether to believe something. Then she nodded. "Yes

Now, everything was ruined. "Dr. Randall," the general's voice came through my headset. I looked over at him. His face was grim, and his eyes held a mix of grief, anger, and deep self-reproach. "I am Kaeden George from the Military Prosecutor's Office. Professor Ellis… was my mentor." He paused, his throat tightening. "He taught me physics for four years. On the very last day before the college entrance exam, he told our class that this country needs people who carry guns, but it also needs people who build them.

My Unborn Heroes

'What am I supposed to do?' I asked my babies inside me. 'Turn his plan against him.' Caleb's voice came clearly. 'He suspects that you have a connection with Steve, doesn't he? Then we'll let him see you actually have one.' I froze. 'That's too risky!' 'Fortune comes from taking risks,' Caleb replied. 'Daddy is too suspicious. The more innocent you look, the more he'll doubt you. Instead, let him believe the accusation. Make him focus all his attention on Steve. Then we'll have a chance to find his weakness.'

Tuazon told her when she noticed she was doing nothing. She stood up and walked over to the card catalogs. When she found what she was looking for, she went to the shelves and grabbed the books. Those were trivia and quiz books with answer sheets on the last pages. She got five of them and handed it to Hero. "If you want to join that badly, read these types of books." He was stunned momentarily before giving off a wide smile. "Awesome! Where did you find these?" "Sssshhhh !!!" Almost everyone looked in their direction and glared at Hero.

Claiming The Rejected Omega

Claiming The Rejected Omega

"A book can transport us to distant realms, introducing us to characters who become our confidants, even lovers, for a brief moment in time. What tale has captured your imagination, dear stranger?" Liam, caught off guard by Layla's profound observation, found himself charmed by her eloquence. "It's a novel by one of my favorite authors," he confessed, a hint of enthusiasm seeping into his words. "The protagonist embarks on a perilous journey, facing countless obstacles in search of his true purpose. It's a story that resonates deeply within me, as if the pages of my life mirror the trials and tribulations of this fictional hero."

I read as far as chapter eight because there were too many grammar errors. The storyline sounds like it could be a great book, and your characters are good, but trying to make sense of the sentences is so distracting. It makes it really hard to understand and enjoy the book.

There are too many inconsistencies in storyline. Fir example, Emily is to proven guilty at the same time proven innocent by Chloe and her team. Max is the culprit then Max is helping Emily. Lucas is Emily brother, then Lucas is prosecuting Emily. It's really difficult to follow the story.

But, this wasn't the subject right now. “Do you know what is the difference between a naive fool and a hero of justice?" She clenched her fist, a fierce expression on her face. "It's their strength. The first requirement of being a hero isn’t being right. It’s being strong. That’s why the hero always wins.”
