Books For Grandma Novels & Stories

“She’s going through puberty. Hides in her room all day with her nose buried in those thick fantasy books. I knock, and she barely even grunts in response.” Margaret let out a light laugh, shaking her head as she set down her cup of tea. “Honestly, that sounds like a dream to most parents. A kid who just reads instead of going out and causing trouble?” She leaned back into the sofa with a fond smile. “Sounds like you got lucky.” Grandma shook her head with a half-smile that didn’t quite reach her eyes. “I know. I just… miss her.” “The way she used to run to me, cling to my arm and beg for stories before bed, or ask me to do her hair like the princesses in her books.”

I'm hardly able to control my words let alone my thoughts. "Second step." Grandma continued, "Picture a library, stacks of shelves and books as far as the eye can see." "Okay." I drawled the word out, "Books." "Let your thoughts fill the books." Grandma continued, giving me a light smirk. "You can have one book dedicated to Alpha Asher, if need be of course." I raised my eyebrow at Grandma and opened my mouth to let loose a snarky remark. She waved me away with her hand, a knowing smile on her face.

She replies laughing knowing the big bad future Alpha's have turned to mush over a girl. Rach and I follow our noses to the quaint little kitchen where grandma is sitting with her face in her tablet playing online crosswords and grandpa is sat reading the paper with his usual cup of black tea, yuk. I kiss my grandparents cheeks and bid them good morning, they both say good morning back to rach and I without looking away from their pages quite obviously intrigued by the different activities infront of them. "Girls help yourselves, coffee is in the pot darlings and the pastries are in the plate warmer because your lazy butt's were still snoozing when they were ready, six across five letters."

Rows upon rows of neatly lined up books with their spines facing outward, color-coded with dots, fiction section sorted in alphabetical order, young adults area, children's section with low shelves and floor cushions, soft leather recliners. I spent the entire morning at the library, so engrossed in reading "the fault in our stars," that I didn't know it was almost afternoon, and I even ate my lunch here since Amy, who is the same age as my mother, look after me. Like my mother, I mean my parents are divorced now and each has their own family, so I only live with my maternal grandma and grandpa who adore me. My maternal grandma is no longer with us, but my maternal grandpa is still alive and

Clearly, i have underestimated my mate. But while going through the book shelf, I came across an old book, which piqued my interest. The back ws not really giving anything aside from it being an old, boring look. But while looking through it? It was a detailed book of almost every medical herb to exist, with how to care for it, what is it used for and everything in between. It was also handwritten, my best guess, by AIra's grandmother.

After they had the coffee they took their leave and I also went back to sleep. When I woke up it was already half past seven. As if I just slept on a long night. I felt hungry, so I went down and you d Grandpa returned with sine chicken. He has a good sale today as it's exam season and the suggestive books are very good in sales. Grandpa didn't put an extra charge on those books so our store is the most famous on the street. That place doesn't have any other bookstores nearby. So everyone comes to buy books from our store.

placing the book on the edge of the table, she opens the door for him and smiles. " I asked your grandmother about you. Said you want to read books. Why are you here? I have built a beautiful library next to your room!" He enters himself, walking with a beautiful box, a sweet smell around him makes her give her attention to his hand. Following him, she walks towards the table, finding her grandpa placing the box on the table and drawing a chair for himself. " I heard about your book. Decided to read. Your handwriting is beautiful!" She smiles sitting next to him. Her eyes glint with excitement as she touches the book, " It feels like I was there with you when you were writing."

he said, entwining his arms in his shaky fingers. I glared at them. “I know you two aren’t readers but I need to find the Grimoire of Sprites. It’s a book that might help.” I hurried over to the library and they caught up to me. “What’s that?” Ian asked again. I didn’t have time for an explanation but I could at least tell them what it was about. “My grandmother used to talk about it and she said every library in every packhouse had one.” The metrical movement of our feet was something I didn’t believe would ever happen. Since I had known them, we had never walked like this unless we were arguing or…

"Grandma Grandma!" A five years old Thea shouted excited. Her two pigtails bouncing as she jumped up and down in excitement. "Slow down Thea." Her grandma said laughing at her excited face. "Grandma please tell me a story." Thea asked her grandma with a little pout on her face. She looked at her grandma with puppy eyes to melt her. "Which story you want to hear my child." Grandma asked as she caressed Thea's head.
