I am just a humble girl who wants to live her life normally. What can I say I was born in a different society, where I thought playing with mud, is the happiest thing we kids had in our childhood but kids here prefer iPhone just to play a video game. Going to a party is not my type nor the society I grew up allow such kind of things in our beings. Whenever I get free time I read books or sleep. I have read almost five hundred romance novels till today but the thirst for the book I have didn't quench even after I spend my every two hours reading novels.

I tell her, pulling a book from the shelf. "That's okay," she says with a slight chuckle. "I'm still trying to be the single orgasmic woman." "Okaaaay," I say slowly, wondering if she expects me to comment on that. "There are different types of books depending on whether it's for you or your partner," I explain, noticing her wedding band for the first time. I ask partly for brownie points and partly because I don't want to be pathetic and ask her to pet my head again. "Um... maybe." She gets out of bed and is wearing a tank top with little pajama shorts and I can't help but groan at the sight. She smirks at me like she knows exactly what she's doing before she hands me a book from her shelf. "It's a book about famous generals. Their strategies, old letters they wrote, things like that." She says with a shrug and climbs back on her bed. "That actually does sound cool." I admit before kicking off my shoes and sitting on the floor next to her bed where my pillow and blanket from last night still lay.

It’s a look I haven’t seen in a long time, one that reminds me of Hera. We shared the same love for literature. She encouraged me to read more romance novels and even bought a ton of them for me. The memory is bittersweet, a mix of warmth and regret. I’m torn now. I’m glad I can enjoy reading again, but I’m also bummed that most of my books are locked up in my office. Proserpina goes through each book on the shelf slowly and mechanically, flips through the pages to try and find… at least something that will catch her interest–there was a story about the origin of soul mates, the concept of rebirth, the rise and fall of Elder Gods, Trojan War–only to no avail. It seems that most of the books Athena has been more on about history, serious matters than what is to be considered anything appropriate for a light reading.

But I had caught her reading a book every now and then. "The books here are thousands of years old," I told her. "You can pick whatever you want, Love." We went our separate ways, searching for books that I thought would have useful information that would help Mikhail. I never let her get out of sight though. After work she went to study and closed her eyes in tiredness but she love to read books so she found happiness while setting the books. She set everything in sequence wise and placed everything . Then she got a book in her hand in which it was written about animals. Nandini got scared seeing that book and her hands started trembling. She asked, picking up one of the books and dusting the cover. "I do but those aren't mine. They were left by the previous owner," I said, grabbing two bowls from one of the pantries. "What are they about?" "There's some brilliant classics in here," She exclaimed, tracing her fingers over the spines of each book. "Bronte, Austen, Wilde." She named off a few authors. "Oh," She let out, pulling out one of the books at the bottom of the stack and walking over to me. "They've even got some of Freud's philosophies. Here- listen."
