Kidnapping My Future Fiancé

Kidnapping My Future Fiancé

Eden’s point of view: Eden waited outside the Baptistry of San Giovanni until 8:15 AM for it to open. Leo was right when he said there was a whole hour left for the baptistry to open. There wasn’t much crowd outside it, since it was still early, but a few people lingered waiting for it to open. Eden had found out about the place from one of Dan Brown’s Robert Langdon series of books, called Inferno. It was amongst the set of books that her mother had left in the home library. Alfred was about to throw them all out when Eden was 14, but she stopped him and took some of them with her. She read about the baptistery in the book and became obsessed with it since then, especially because of the wa

Begin Again

Begin Again

Liam's assistant looked up from the menu and caught her eye, a huge smile splitting her face as she waved her over. Eden took a long shaky breath as she reluctantly weaved through the tables, convinced she'll regret making the trip. She should be working on her children's book—The Boy Who Chased the Moon— instead of being here, opening herself up to more hurt again.

Almost one of the best. Hence, totally agreed to one of the reviewers chapters leading to the end of the novel less interesting perhaps too much effort in making some catastrophe to the story to put some twist. could have made more effort in making the end not to subtle or too obvious.

Val Sims is one of my favorites. Begin Again is the first of her novels that I read and I loved it so much, I had to read all her other works and I love them also. I hope she continues to write because she tells a good story and her characters are believable.

The Extraordinary Luna

The Extraordinary Luna

Edith was in the history section. Her hands were skimming through the rows of books stored neatly on the shelves. Edith was looking for books and articles about urban legends, myths, and other supernatural things. Edith carried a stack of books in her hands. She stepped towards the table carefully as her vision was obscured by the books she was carrying. Arriving at the end of the section, Edith bumped into something hard in front of her. The books she was carrying fell to the floor. Edith crouched down and looked at the messy books on the floor until she heard a familiar voice in her ears. It was like she had heard that voice before. Edith ascertained it by raising her head.

IRIS: The Human Hybrid

IRIS: The Human Hybrid

I thought for a moment, wondering if there is a book that covers pretty much all the topics Lady Vena had mentioned earlier. “I’m not sure, Henry but I just need a book that can give me an insight into the society of Drakkon” “Well, come along then, I think I know just the book for you” I watched as Henry picked out two books from the top shelves before handing them to me. “Those two will give you all the right details but if you need more, just ask” “Okay” I said with a nod before hurrying to seat at the desk in the corner. The library was really large and grand but completely desolate with no one insight. Seems the people of Drakkon don’t read very much or maybe they just don’t have the ti

Taken by my stepfathers

Taken by my stepfathers

Daniel’s POV The library was the heart of the estate, a room of dark oak, leather-bound history, and a silence so thick it felt like it had its own pulse. I led Eden inside, my hand firm on her elbow. I could feel the tremors still vibrating through her skin, a low-frequency hum of trauma that made my own blood simmer. I sat her in the velvet wingback chair near the fireplace. She looked hauntingly small against the backdrop of ten thousand books—a slip of plum silk and raw nerves.

Rejected Luna: He wants me back

Rejected Luna: He wants me back

I quickly head out to the next shelf. I don’t know how much time has passed, but I feel exhausted. Drake plops into one of the armchairs before the fireplace, yawning. “I covered thirty shelves, and there’s no book on celestial wolves. This is not a library. It's a book town!” He rests his chin on his arm. “It's so huge that I might find aliens hiding somewhere.” “Stop with the excuses. You are just incapable, that’s all,” Dory says while biting her thumbnail, her eyes trained on the book she’s holding.

Also, I love the characters in this book! I’m sad that story the main characters is finished but then we get to revisit them in the sequel. It made me laugh and cry but luckily laughed a lot! Even the FL’s wolf is great! I love it when the wolves also communicate to them and have quite the character

I would give this long story a great review but not the way it supposedly ended!! I hope you’ve got at least one more chapter to end it the way it should end! You didn’t finalize anything…you left it up in the air. Please write a wonderful ending to it, please!!!!

Taming The Beast: His Ruthless Desire

Taming The Beast: His Ruthless Desire

A book lay face down on the bedside table. “Brittle bones: An Eden Knight thriller series." Hmm, didn't know he read fiction. I placed it back carefully on the bedside table making sure I got the page correctly. There wasn't much else to see really. An anticlimactic end to my racing heart while I stood at the door five minutes earlier. I was about to leave when I noticed the door at the left side of the room. I hadn't seen it earlier because it looked like the wall itself. And if Luca hadn't left it slightly ajar, I wouldn't have known there was a door there.

Dragon Born Luna

Dragon Born Luna

A first edition of Meridian's Bestiary, one of only three known copies, lay in the fireplace, its charred edges still smoking faintly. I crouched beside a toppled shelf, running my thumb over the embossed title of a fallen book: On the Nature of Forgotten Gods. The sheer breadth of knowledge in this room made my chest tighten. Histories of dead civilizations. Treatises on magic even the scholars feared to practice. Accounts of creatures that should have stayed myth. And as I stood in the midst of the wreckage, breathing in the scent of ink and blood and broken things, I understood why someone would take her.

The Third Book

The Third Book

"Nate should have drawn that unnamed bench instead of that Cedar bench." "Mr. Bro? Is that you?" Cela asked. "Who else knows the story that started in this waiting shed but me," Mr. Bro said. "Oh my goodness. How long has it been?" she asked. "I don't want to count the days and years. The important thing is you are back and you look so much better than the last time I saw you in this campus," he said. "That was one dramatic part of my life. I feel embarrassed just thinking about it," she said.

Kidnapped By The Mafia King

Kidnapped By The Mafia King

He sobered then cleared his throat. I smiled. “He was shocked.” It was difficult to believe that Adam was related to Tristan. There was a slight resemblance. Adam came a bit closer and leaned against one of the posts. “I wasn’t sure what kind of books you like, so I brought a memoir, a thriller, a romance, and a fantasy book. We don’t have many new books. I don’t think I’m allowed to give you my kindle. You could use it for other stuff.” I smiled. “It’s okay.” Despite my intention to hate on every Russo, it was difficult not to like Adam. “I think I’ll pass on the thriller, though. I’ve had plenty of thrill in my life recently.”
