We arrive at the lake house—or more like a mansion. The place practically glows against the night sky, perched at the edge of the water like something out of a movie. It’s the kind of place where the rooms seem to go on forever, where every surface gleams and the furniture looks too expensive to touch. Like most kids at our school, Johnny Castile comes from money. The kind that doesn’t blink at renting out lakefront property just to throw a party.

He hoped in and we drove away. "I uhm, I want to say thank you, thank you so much for doing this for me, it means a lot for me you have no idea.. thank you so much ", I said minutes into the ride. "I should be thanking you honestly, you don't know what you've done for me, you have no idea ", he said. About 30 minutes later, we pulled up in front of something that looked like a castle. A glass castle. The building was big, very very big. And it was made of glass.

A laptop sat in front of him and he leaned back in his chair as I entered, taking the glasses off and watching me as I looked around. There was a large glass bookshelf on the wall and I made my way over to it, carefully standing on the stool to examine the books closer and I smiled as I instantly found a great one. I mentioned, getting off of the stool and going over to the couch in his office before lying down and opening it. "Did you eat?" He asked, the sound of scribbling on paper filling my ears. I’m sure it’ll happen one day. I realize that I haven’t made it past a single page of my book. Ironically, it’s about pup-bearing. Rose has read—and re-read—every book in the castle library on childbirth, and since I’m both guarding her and hoping to have pups of my own one day, I’m trying to catch up with her on the reading part just so I know everything she knows, so I’ve checked out a few books of my own.
