The Unexpected Mate

The Unexpected Mate

Zayden As soon as I got done showering, I hurried and dried my body and hair, put on my clothes and walk out the door. I see my little mate sitting in the chair I left her in but with a book in hand. I slowly walk over to her and lean on the back of the chair. I notice she is reading my favorite book. Catch 22 by Joseph Heller. “How do you like it so far?” I startled her apparently as she jumped as soon as I asked the question.

This is a great book but I hope that it has a second put. what happens to Zyaden mom and does Everleigh ever go back. Do they look for her. Do they keep the look a like. What happens to Desi kid. What happen to the pack as a whole now that she is gone. Where does she go and do her old pack find her

I really and truly LOVED this book. Yes, the ending was unexpected. Everleigh is too powerful and should be mated to only one fae mate. Or a fae/werewolf one. Grey and Zayne weren’t able to appreciate her. Actually, no one was able to appreciate her true self. I’m relieved she left them all.

He Helped Me Fail 99 Times

He Helped Me Fail 99 Times

"What kind of attitude is that? Anyone's welcome at my launch." She strolled over, voice sugar-coated. "Emma used to be my benefactor. Without her help, I'd have never met Alex." She paused, eyes gleaming. "But Emma, feel free to watch—just don't start screaming plagiarism again like last time." The word hit like a spark. Whispers flared. "Wait, she's the one who accused Dr. Hartway?" "Didn't she get sued?" "No wonder she failed 99 times—probably stealing from others."

The Billionaire’s Stolen Bride

The Billionaire’s Stolen Bride

The lightest moment in a story that had contained almost no light at all. I noticed the book on his nightstand the following week. Not a pregnancy book. Not a business strategy guide. Not any of the texts I'd seen him read during our time together. A different kind of book. The title was something about understanding patterns and breaking cycles. The kind of book that therapists recommend to clients who are ready to examine the machinery that produced them.

Married to the Enemy CEO

Married to the Enemy CEO

It felt strange, how something so small could pull at me like that. We kept walking. Somewhere near the corner shelf, I stopped again — a thin book caught my eye. The First Year: A Guide for New Parents. I reached for it, running my thumb along the spine. Pages soft, edges new. I flipped through — pictures of fathers holding babies, smiling mothers, small notes on feeding and sleep routines. For the first time that day, something in my chest loosened. “You know,” the storekeeper said, glancing at the book, “most fathers come back for that one. They say it helps.”

The Hidden She-Wolf

The Hidden She-Wolf

Jane said sadly. "I'll help you if you teach me to take control of my powers," I told her handing the book. She smiled. I watched her as she spun through the book. If there's a chance to help someone find happiness I would be happy to do so. "Here you go," Jane placed the book before me. I looked at it strangely not being to read. "Are you okay?" Jane was worried about me. "I can't read." "I understand, but don't worry I'll help you once I find my real mom."

The Bad Gentleman

The Bad Gentleman

I don’t have a phone I can use to reach either of them; I haven’t had a phone for days now. I flip the page of the self-help book which I’d grabbed from duty-free earlier, internally hating myself for not picking one of the other enticing fiction books I’d seen, but I thought about sleep, and the fact that I’d have to induce myself on this flight back to actually make it through, and went with it. It’s a book about the power of conversations, which I find ironic because of the situation I’m currently in, and because nothing in the past three pages I’ve read seemed helpful.

My Dad's Bestfriend

My Dad's Bestfriend

he called back, his voice warm as sunlight. The sound of the door clicking shut was the last thing I heard before sleep reclaimed me, pulling me back into its embrace. *** I found myself rummaging through a stack of books that likely belonged to Jacob from his university years. None of them were fiction. These were all about life lessons and self-improvement. Titles like Rich Mindset and Atomic Habits caught my eye, their well-worn spines suggesting they had been thoroughly read. But one title stood out above the rest, stopping me cold:

Ten Ways To Kill Alpha PENKING

Ten Ways To Kill Alpha PENKING

“Thank you. For raising me in it. For not hiding it. For letting it be complicated. Because now that complication is. My gift. If that makes sense.” “It makes perfect sense.” Hope’s first book acquisition was published in November. A memoir. By a woman who’d survived domestic violence. Who’d rebuilt her life. Who wanted other women to see it was possible. Hope called when she saw it on shelves for the first time. “It’s real,” she said. Voice shaking. “It’s a real book. By a real person. And I helped make it happen.” “You did. And someone’s going to read that and feel less alone.”

He Helped a Woman, I Helped Him Fall

He Helped a Woman, I Helped Him Fall

He then sank to his knees, saying, "I've learned my lesson, Mary. Please forgive me this one time. Please help me. If you don't want to help me, at least help Felicity. "She has lived a tough life since she was orphaned as a child. Please don't hurt her anymore because of what happened between us." It was obvious that Sean was trying to emotionally blackmail me by playing the role of the saint. "I don't mind helping her," I replied as I returned to my room and grabbed the divorce papers. "Sign this, and I'll give her a hand."
