Books To Get You Back Into Reading Novels & Stories

The staff don't deserve to be treated poorly, so I plann to stay until she leaves. I pull up the book I've been reading called Thinking in Systems and pick up where I left off. At the receptionist's desk at work, there is a shelf of books available to borrow and I've been working through them one at a time. I don't know who gets to pick what goes there but each book has been impactful.

Something waiting. --- Determined not to be paralyzed by fear, I returned to the antique bookstore — to the stories, the secrets, the fragments of forgotten women. The elderly owner greeted me with a knowing smile. “You’re searching for answers,” he said quietly. I nodded. He handed me a leather-bound tome, its cover worn but strong — *Reflections of the Forgotten*. “Read carefully,” he advised. “Sometimes the past speaks through shadows.” --- I spent the night poring over its pages. The book told of women trapped in illusions, caught between worlds — ghosts of themselves, struggling to reclaim their true identities.

However, I might have strangely disturbed her privacy, so ever since then, I have tried to limit my visits since I couldn't handle her negative vibes. Good for both of us. As I walked to my reserved place, I propelled down on my chair. I looked at the huge clock hung on the wall across from me and sighed. I have 30 minutes to go. And, that means, I can actually read a book. Trying a little more to look on the positive side, I shuffle the contents in my bag and went for my book. I am re - reading the notebook now and I guess it'll keep me entertained. There is this unexplainable beauty in Nicholas sparks' writing that everyone finds amazing. No matter how old the story is, you seem to dive in

Bella is really going to benefit from someone who is really laid back and able to calm her down. Challenge this week is going to be a bit different. They finished book shopping, it was around three in the afternoon when Jacob invited her to go somewhere else.

The library was quiet, the afternoon sunlight filtering through the stained-glass windows. Anna sat alone at the far corner, the mysterious book, The Reflection Game, spread open before her. He kept it away from her and studied the cover. “This has to be boring.” “It is.” She rolled her eyes. “Give me my book back.” “If it’s boring and you know this, then why are you reading it?” He handed it back to her. “Because the University of Miami law school suggested these books for their first year students.” She shrugged. “I like to be prepared before a semester starts.” “It’s summertime. “I’m aware of that.” “You need to be saved.”

And honestly, I wasn’t ready to face what he wanted just yet. I turn the page of the Alley Ciz book I'm reading and get lost for a few minutes reading Jase and Melody's love story. Trying my best to not burst into laughter at the antics of the characters. That author has a way with words. Drawing you in until you feel like you are part of the story. She's one of my new favorite authors. I have no shame in saying I stalked her on social media. Reading is one of the best ways I know of to remove myself from all the drama around me, a chance for me to reset my mind. My name is called, and I place my bookmark and put it in my purse.

There was something about her that I felt deeply connected with, a major reason I always turn back to this book when my life tides seem to get violent. Because my book issuing date was near and I had already read the book, I decided to go to the library and get a new one. My reading habit dates back when I was little. Though, my fondness with inked pages is perpetual, I have become more talkative. In fact, the pile of my words can be categorised as rambling.
