Books To Read To Get Back Into Reading Novels & Stories

I said, grinning from teeth to teeth like a child. We walked into the library. It looked like it had been a while, since it was in use. We went through several sections which included, finance, self-improvement, ethics, business amongst all. I caught a glimpse of a book I had been wanting to read, “Atomic Habits” by James Clear. I picked it immediately, and started going through it. After a while, I noticed I wasn't hearing any sound from the cook. I looked around and found her wiping tears off her eyes with the hem of her apron.

Well, he is now safe. I had access to a lot of books everyday, which I read to help me get my mind off things. I started to realize how much I loved to read, to immerse myself in a different, surreal world and become an entirely different person. It makes me forget about my predicament but that's just it. Once I close the books, reality slaps me hard again.

The warmth from the fire didn't really ease the uneasy feeling growing inside me. Taking a deep breath, I opened the book. Each page turn felt like stepping back into a past I wanted to forget. The flames continued to dance, casting a flickering light that seemed to play along with the emotions swirling within me. I turned another page, the words becoming guides through a landscape of recovery I wasn't sure I was ready to navigate. Memories, like shadows, crept in as the fire crackled. Each sentence seemed to awaken echoes of my own experiences. It was as if the library held its breath, waiting for me to absorb the weight of those stories and somehow find my own path within them.

"Books, they are our only hope now." He said, "books? What do you mean by books are our only hope?" I asked, demanding an explanation to clear out the confused soul that was sinking in my brain. "What I meant was, historical books and pamphlets any book that has extraordinary things attached to it. We have to try to lay our hands on it. It's the only way out of this hook we found ourselves. We just have to keep calm and get everything right, scrutinize and define every hidden term in every nook we get. I'm sure we'll get something. Nick said, and I was mind-blown. "So do we go to the libraries to get started!?" I asked. "Obviously yes, anywhere with books I'm sure we'll find something soon.

But I really wasn't ready to go inside and face my fears. “I'll be right back.” “Take your time.” Zeke says, pulling out a thin, paperback book from his pocket. I notice the title and smile when I see that he is reading The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. “I have my book to keep me occupied.” “It's a pretty good book.” I tell him with a smile. “It must be. This is my fourth time reading it.” He tells me with a grin and I chuckle. He and I are so much alike. I reread my favorite books too; I've read Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte six times.

They slip from mine a second or two later before she selects her book and starts to read aloud. I'm interested in the book at first, before the situation in front of me begins to distract me from Amelia's words. We've been back together for a while now, and it's felt so good to have her back, but I don't know if it's ever felt this good. I did it, I got her back. I gave her the time that she needed and made myself a safe place for her to feel okay again, and she came back. She's home, and she's okay. Better than okay. She's travelling to a new continent for the first time, having a vacation for the first time in possibly a decade, letting someone else take care of her for a change, reading n

One, where I was not going to be alone as usual. We stayed that way for a while before his fingers pulled off. It was a once in a lifetime moment and as quickly as it ended, I wanted it to happen again. So I decided to use the time wisely. I pulled a book from the bed side stool. I had adopted the habit of reading Kalen books since I got to know that it could also help from bringing them back to life. I went to the library and got him some books I felt would be nice to read to him. So in my time when I'm not being ordered around, I read to him.

Just laying down for five minutes and I was already bored of it. I tried not to think of anything that was happening as I tried to think of something fun to do that wouldn't waste my time unnecessarily. BOOKS. It’s been an eternity since I ever read anything so I quickly got out of bed and headed towards the library. It was dusty and dark and deserted because no one bothered to make use of it anyways but that would be beneficial to me. Can you imagine how fun it would be reading without any distractions? Twould be fun. I had barely picked up a book when the door suddenly creaked open and Marcia’s face was in sight.

I opened my eyes and reached out for the novel chosen by the book club, an old read for me—Firestarter by Stephen King. I wondered why we had to read something like this in a book club where the majority of the members were hopeless romantics. I stared at the folded page and slowly opened it. I was still stuck in chapter eight since I started the book at the beginning of the month. Even though it was an old read, I was still finding it difficult to read it because I was distracted and worried.

Woah! I can't believe I'm back here once again, gosh I almost forgot all about this book entirely. But I decided to return back to this book. A lot has happened since the last chapter, I was lost for a while and had to emotionally stabilize myself. I won't lie, the reason I dropped this book was because when I started writing it, I had hoped for a lot of readers to read it, so when it wasn't gaining the attention that it deserved, I felt really less motivated each day. But of course that was my young author mind back then and I was still a newbie in my brain.
