“Have you found anything more on the Golden Wolves?” That caught my attention. “Golden wolves?” “You know about them?” Ryder seemed surprised. I shook my head and reached for the book Axel had been flipping through. It was an old book based on the colour of the paper and how worn it was. The cover was plain and made out of leather that looked a little newer. I traced the golden wolf on the front cover with shaky fingertips. My brows dipped into a frown as I studied it. Something about it felt familiar but I couldn’t place my finger on it. Somehow it felt like I had heard about them before.

I put it to my right as I murmured “I’d start with you.” Just like the first 2, the other books were about plants and flowers, the 3rd had lillies on the cover and again I smiled as I recalled touching them few days ago in the garden. All in all they were 5 books and the 4th was about pest control and all about how to care for plants and flowers, how and when to water each one, which of them requires much sunlight and which doesn't. The final book was like a diary, its cover, thick and brown, my name scribbled on it in italics handwriting and I had no doubt it was Davos who did it and my grin spread wider as I saw a note stuck to the book.

It looked brand new and in English. Mesmerized l saw the book cover. The only fascinating thing was his shadow was entirely different. It was a wolf with it's all four legs on the ground but with it's head held high and it's snout was in the air like it was howling. "Darn it", l frowned when I failed to understand anything.
