Books With Dogs On The Cover Novels & Stories

It's chewing it like a bubble gum! I immediately stood up to approach it but it suddenly ran off at full speed. Without a second thought I chased after it. Wahhhhhhh why now!? I was almost there! the confession is coming soon! "Hey stop dog! Give me back my book!" I shouted at the dog, it looked like the shiba inu breed. It was absolutely cute but nothing is cute to me when it comes to books. It stole my precious book!

"All of them?" "Yes." I carefully unwrapped each box to find hardbound books in them. I laughed out loud, reading the titles. I picked the first one, looking at the erotic cover page where a girl is sitting in a man's lap. He is wearing nothing. "Married to my boss," I read the title. The second one has the hands of a girl, cuffed to the bed, "The Mafia Don's Pet." The other one has a guy with a pack, a body I am so familiar with and the photo I have taken while he was in the gym. "Did you really put this on a book cover?"

Rearranging the books, I found a small brown book wedged behind them, but it didn’t have a title or seem to belong to the library. While putting the library books up, I took the unmarked book and opened the cover to see if something was inside to help me figure out where the book went. The cover had nothing, so I flipped the page and saw it was a journal. The handwriting looked familiar as if I had seen it before. Flipping the pages, I skimmed the contents and saw that it discussed microchips. It was also about changed wolves. I took the book to the loft to find out if it was related to the same thing I wanted to create.

"Hey, do you want to get back at the man who hurt you?" Logan spat out a mouthful of blood and looked up at me with alarmingly bright eyes. "Yes." A vicious smile curled on my lips as I lazily tilted his chin up with the toe of my shoe. "Then become my lapdog, and I'll give you everything you want." Logan lowered his head and fell silent. Just as I grew impatient and was about to turn away, he reached out and grabbed my ankle. "Woof." From then on, Logan became my most devoted lapdog.

I couldn’t blame those whose feelings for me were complicated, but I could certainly avoid them. I was holed up in the library enjoying a cup of dandelion tea. In my research I had come across accounts of waking dormant wolves, but most of them sounded more like exorcising the devil out of someone than helping them bring back their power. A shadow loomed over my book as someone came up behind my chair. “A little light reading?” I tilted my head directly up to look into his face. “Just some research,” I said. "Mr Philip sent me to give this to you." "Thanks." I collected the book to inspect the front cover, while he showed off some dimples. The book had a raccoon as it's display photo. The raccoon looked thrilled to bits with both hands up and mouth open like it was shouting. The background was yellow, it had the words, 'furiosly happy' boldly written on it. Under the book title, there were word too that said, 'a funny book about terrible things' written in smaller font, while the author's name was Jenny Lawson.

I mumble, heading to my office. I sit down in my chair and put the book on the desk. I look closely at the cover and realize it isn't leather, but some soft dark skin, more on a fur than the normal boom cover. My guess would be some.random animal with fur but I think sime fur isn’t smooth as this. I turn to the first page and mutter a curse under my breath. I read the tiny scrawl with widening eyes.

It was not all, the cover was the eyes of werewolves. My brows furrowed in keen interest as well as something I can't name settling within me. Without thinking further, my hand took out the book and the front cover showed the face of werewolves with its eyes glowing in a golden hue. I brushed my fingers on the cover, mesmerized by the image. It was delicately printed and made.

Its cover bore a sigil she recognized from his ring a crescent moon entwined with a wolf’s head. She nodded obediently, but curiosity clawed at her like an itch under the skin. When he left the room, she stared at the red book until the shadows grew long. Then, unable to resist, she touched the cover. The leather pulsed beneath her fingers alive. The latch came undone with a soft click. Inside, the pages were filled with hand-drawn diagrams of moons, human anatomy, and wolves mid-shift bones cracking, bodies half-transformed. Beneath one sketch was a name scrawled in ink:

I smiled and nodded. "Give me a minute; I'll be right back." She gave me the book and went away. I searched through the colorful book for more pictures until they were through while waiting for her to return. Soon I started on another book in the box. Unfortunately, most of the books were just words, and I could not read them yet. As I was about to give up searching for more books with pictures, I found one. I opened it, and I was surprised to see what it was all about. I couldn't read, but the picture of a white wolf with the same marking as mine allowed me to know that this book was not any ordinary book. It was a book about my pack, The River Pack Members.
