I fanned the pages in stunned silence. This book couldn’t possibly tell Lina’s entire life, could it? Such a thing didn’t seem possible, yet nothing I’d seen seemed possible. If creepy, half-dead creatures called Librarian’s existed, then why couldn’t this?
