Leo opened the doors but I couldn't believe what I seen inside From floor to ceiling along the walls there was thousands and thousands of books lined up on huge wooden book cases with shelves packed full of different size and thickness of books. Some of these massive book cases were vertical in the center of the room which also had beautiful colored books lining there shelves. Glass windows were at the very top of the roof line letting in a perfect amount of natural light. The smells that filled my nose were heaven all these paper pages filled the room with the faint smell of ink lingering.

First stop: home décor. I wandered the aisles, tossing things into the cart almost mindlessly. A set of sage green throw pillows that would look perfect on the couch. A faux sheepskin rug in cream to soften the hardwood floors. A woven basket for blankets. LED strip lights for behind the TV—something ambient and cozy.

But I had peeked because I really hadn't been able to hold myself. There was a wall covered in crisp ash shelves with rows of books on each of them. It wasn't full, so I imagined which book I would want to have if I had a chance to pick. Perhaps, a lot of romance. I was definitely addicted to happy endings. And a lot of hot sex. Had to really have a lot of that, was it really a happy ending without that? A fireplace was the focal point of the opposite side of the room, where there was a cozy looking leather couch and two armchairs. The dark wood floor were made warmer with a thick red rug my feet sank into.

The bar stools for the island are made out of old whiskey barrels that also matches the custom made bookshelf that lines the wall in the living room. We each head to our rooms to finish decorating. My room has a queen sized bed with quilt that has soft neutral colors of grey and taupe which highlight the beautiful horses in the meadow among the green and golden trees. It has a decorative pillow that says ‘life is better with a horse’ and a picture of Beauty on it. I have my own personal bookshelf and a handmade braided juice rug that is light brown.

Yet this place had a more elegant touch, curving corners that led to even more books in a room that she’d had no idea was as large as it turned out to be. By the time she’d made it to the other end, she’d passed through the room’s center where four leather couches sat facing one another, a huge area rug covering the floor beneath them. There was also a fireplace nestled deep into the back wall surrounded by an intricate rock design. As gorgeous as it all was, Elaina found herself going farther, to the end of the room, to a section of books that looked terribly old and for some odd reason appeared the most interesting.
