Booktok Festival 2025 Novels & Stories

“This has nothing to do with that health spell you did last night, does it?” “I have no idea what you’re talking about,” Kristy laughs. “I’m just glad she’ll be the one reading her book to the children and not me. It’s crazy our little event sold completely out.” “It’s going to be great,” I tell her, knowing she’s still a bit nervous for the Story Time event we have planned at our bookstore tomorrow. The whole thing is for charity, with all the money from the tickets going to Thorne Hill’s 4H group. We have three authors coming to read their favorite children’s book to the kids participating, and then Kristy has the cutest book-themed crafts planned after that.

“Hm, I like to read comics but that does not mean I like to come to events nor hate it. I've never even tried to go there or find it around.” But for the bookstore Bazaar it is another story, Debbie was deliberately looking for and came directly to hunt for discount comics. “At the end of the year in the town hall there is always a Japanese culture festival. You've never been here, have you?” The event that Alfred mentioned is the closing event of each year held by the official city government. The foreign cultural introduction event includes various activities, including culinary specialties, cosplay competitions, comics bazaars and so on. “No, but I had heard about it." Debbie replied indi

Pearl gasped. They were currently talking about the Betnerd festival which is held once every year, and I was currently missing. It was usually a sports and food festival celebrating the local sports and food in the kingdom. I'd been looking forward to it, and despite not going it seemed like I was barely missing a thing because Isa, Shane, Ryan and Pearl filled me in on every single detail I'd missed everyday. They even brought the food they'd gotten from the festival for me even though I could barely eat it.

I did not even realise when I had closed my eyes, taking in more of the way she made me feel. “Alpha?” My eyes snapped open, my body going stiff immediately. “Yes?” “Do you know that there will be a festival soon?” I placed the book down, turning the chair sideways to stare into her eyes, “Festival?” “Yes,” she grinned, “we call it the May Day Festival. Don’t you have it in your pack as well?” I shook my head, “We don’t waste our time on such useless stuff.”

I assure you it will be a fun ride. Lastly, I appreciate you guys. And I hope you will support my book that is participating in a contest, “The Mate He Never Expected: His Crazy Obsession”. Next week is my birthday, by the way. XOXO (≧▽≦). 30th January, 2026.

The conversations ended just before Anna said, “Love you.” “Missing Passover this year?” Nate empathized. “This year, the year before, the one before that. It’s not that I don’t want to go. My mom makes the best chopped liver, but I have a business to run. I know it’s hard for her to understand, but the L.A. Times Festival of Books is the biggest event on the West Coast next to the Book Expo and the Pitch Conference in New York City. Before the divorce, Henry always went. I have no choice. I have to be there in person representing the company.” Anna stated.

“Just Linda. You must be Arian, the president who managed to keep this dream afloat.” Heat rushed to my cheeks. “Yes, ma’am… I mean, Linda. We’re honored to have you here and we can't wait to hear you speak.” Behind her, Kael appeared, calm but watchful, and our eyes caught for a second. I wanted to be mad for the days he ghosted me, but there he was actually delivered the miracle he had promised. The festival was alive with activity. Panels discussed translation, and authors read their works, readers commented on their favourite scenes. A special area for kids was created with colorful bookmarks.

“The reason we have called you all is to announce an annual book fair solely sponsored by the Armani Holdings and organised by Woods Publishing. It’s an opportunity for amateurs and seasoned writers to advertise their books, gain readers and have lively interaction with them. Unlike the other book fairs, this will be a weekend affair with exciting activities for both the readers and writers in hopes of inspiring their passion. The best part about this is we will have a separate section for the pups with games and engaging activities. At the end of this fair, we will also be having a lucky draw for both the groups—readers and writers with some exciting prizes. All the details will be updated

“No more trials?” “No more trials,” “No more disgruntled postal workers?” “No more disgruntled postal workers,” Except one, Rachel thought, after seeing the list of events scheduled almost every day for the next three months. “We have two major booksellers conventions next week in preparation for the holiday season and I’d like you to attend both. A personal appearance by the author goes a long way to putting your book on store shelves. Check in with Joan first thing tomorrow for your tickets and itinerary. Now, go home and get some rest,”

“What do you mean?” “You’re reading a book,” I scoffed. “What is it about?” She beamed. “Did you think that I never read?” “I’ve never seen you read anything,” I laughed. “Oh please, I do read and guess what? There’s an open book festival of ‘Sincerely, Yours Too’ tomorrow in Manhattan. I was thinking we should go. I’d like to meet the author.” She handed me a pamphlet about the open book festival. I looked at it and just thought that she wrote about things that only women found interesting and it wasn’t going to benefit me to be there. “I will arrange for a driver to take you there, I have a golf session with one of my clients.”
