Novel & Cerita Borrowing A Book From Library

I suddenly had an idea. "You're not allowed to borrow too many books from the library, unless you read them here. The maximum is three books." "No, I'm gonna do my assignment here. I need a lot of references, so..." I glanced at the cart she was pushing. The librarian looked at the clock. It was already two-thirty, and the library would be closing soon. "You only have until five." "I know," I said. "I'll be quick. So, can I borrow that cart?"

“I’d like to borrow this one.” I glanced at the title he was clutching, unable to hide a small, knowing smile. The book was about incubi and succubi, an intriguing choice that seemed to reflect a growing curiosity within him. “Of course,” I replied smoothly. “Let me prepare your library card and don’t forget to register your name there on the computer.” He nodded and started typing his details. I then took out a small index card, carefully filling in the details of the loan and noting the return date before giving it to him.

Apparently not reluctantly, but now that everyone has left, the library is completely empty. Looks like she's the only one who doesn't feel it's too late. Put the book in front of the keeper of the library. She politely said. - I have not finished reading this book, I want to borrow this book to read more. - Yes, give me your brother's student card to register to borrow books. The procedure was quite quick, she received the card and the book back. As soon as she stepped out the door, a cold wind startled her a little. Lifting her hand to the collar of her coat, putting the borrowed book in her backpack, she quickly walked back to her apartment.

I couldn’t afford the fine, but if I didn’t return them soon, I’d lose my borrowing rights. So, I walked to the library. The cold bit through my sleeves. My toes were numb by the time I got there. The librarian gave me the look. The we-know-you’re-late-and-broke look. I apologized, dropped the books, and promised to pay the fine next week. Before I left, I walked through the shelves and ran my fingers along the spines. So many names. So many stories. I wondered if one day someone would shelve mine here, tucked between titles no one had heard of, waiting for the right person to find it.

"I can pay to borrow it." "I am not going to take your money. This book remains here. Can you at least try to understand that?" Sheila leaned toward Ms Kate with a scowl. "Is it 'cause of me that ye don't want borrow 'er?" Ms Kate heaved a sigh in exasperation. "No, Sheila, I am not one of those elites who look down on dregs. These are my rules, nobody takes this book at home and that's it." "Ms Kate, Louisa's mom has a problem with 'er comin' to the library everyday."

Somehow, I felt Mom wouldn’t be thrilled by the news. "I’d like to rest for a bit now, but tell me… could you do me a favor? Before the accident, I borrowed several books from the library, and they were due back a few days ago. I’ve already finished them, and something new wouldn’t hurt. Your father doesn’t have time for that — he neglected these responsibilities for too long." "You want me to go?" "If you don’t mind." How could I mind when someone I loved was asking? I picked up the books, knowing I’d have to pay a small fine. It was a shame the library didn’t take into account situations when a reader couldn’t return books due to health issues.
