Novel & Cerita Borrowing A Book From Library

I winced, I had missed my next class,” I walked to a librarian and asked, “Excuse me. Did anyone check out a book recently?” She adjusted her glasses and shot me a cold look. “No one has checked out a book in weeks now. You kids are all occupied with your phones. This is a library but all they do here is use the WiFi. It is exhausting watching you abuse-” I took quiet steps away from her as she went further with her complaints. “Someone took it,” I said with conviction. But who?

By becoming a member of the library they can borrow books. "Well, the library is bigger and more complete than the library in my school." Marcus' whisper made Arjeno nod in agreement. The books available in the library of his new campus are indeed more complete, the facilities are also many. At least this library that will make Arjeno not regret already studying here. Arjeno and Marcus walked down different bookshelf aisles. Arjeno's gaze was drawn to one of the books in front of him, the man's hand then outstretched, grabbed the book and read the first page.

"Let's go! Up front." They walked to the library desk. Seth placed all the books on the table, and the librarian quickly and efficiently scanned the loan. "Thank you. Oh, can we borrow the cart for a moment?" Seth asked, looking at the badge hanging around the librarian's neck. "I hope you understand, Miss Lewis. These books are very heavy." "Oh, of course. You may borrow them, Cooper." Helma Lewis nodded enthusiastically with sparkling eyes. "No need to hesitate." Seth smiled. "Thank you, Miss Lewis. I'll return it soon."

She was also hidden in my backpack when I applied for the job in the local library, I always had a weak spot for the books and stories, when they took me I couldn’t be happier. My job was easy and simple, just help people buying their stories, cash them out, put the books back in place and finally I can read as much as I want. It was the best kind of job for me, I loved it and I got paid weekly, enough to eat, after my first paycheck, I had spent a full week starving,

“My friend lent it to me and told me she got it from here and asked me to return it, sadly I forgot her library card.” “That’s odd, it’s not registered in our system and it does not even have ISBN.” “Is that so? Alright, I’ll leave now.” He left the library with a confused mind.

"Do you want any book from the library?"I smiled as I looked at Cody, my little brother. He was only 8 years old and already carried a lot of problems on his shoulders. "Yes! Yes! Yes!"he shouted excitedly and gave me his silly toothy smile. We don't pay for the books. We have a ticket and when we show it to the librarian, he gives us the approval to borrow maximum eight books for the whole week. We were near the library so I suggested to take him there. He was such a bookworm. I also loved reading a lot, so this ticket was all our lives.

He replied with a mockery in his voice. How the hell did he figured out I don't have one. He seems mysterious. "I can pick up the books from the library. I registered for my library card yesterday. The librarian said they will issue the card within a couple of days. Did you register for the card? " I asked him. "No, I am not interested in that boring place. You can pick the books all by yourself. " He replied. " I can borrow the novels from you since you are my partner. " He continued.

“Yes, sir!” “Ok, here are the rules. Each of the books here can be borrowed with points. You can read the introduction before borrowing them. You need to register with me first if you only wish to browse. If you really wish to study, you’ll have to go into the Enlightenment Room for two hours, of which you’ll need points to access that as well. Prohibition has been put on the books so don’t even think about forcing your way through them. Remember, you have a time limit of two hours. You’ll need to pay with more points if you want to extend the time.”

I had to always ensure that books borrowed must be returned in good condition or else I would have to buy back the book. Such a great responsibility, right? Thought so too. Though I am very happy with the post I was given as it has always been my dream to be a library prefect because at least from now I don't need to ask permission from anyone if I need to borrow a book. Sounds good, right? Thought so too. When we got back to class.

I returned the book and borrowed the book 2 for that book, just like the first book that has fifty three chapters, this second one also has the same number of chapters whereby one chapter has about two thousands plus words. I finished the second book also and returned the book but after returning that one, I could not see the book three for that same book. I knew the book was supposed to have book three. On getting back to the library to return the second book and borrow book three, I could not see it there. I asked the library keeper about it, he said there was no book there. I had to argue with him that the book has book three but he insisted and later asked me not to say anything about. H
