Novel & Cerita Borrowing A Book From Library

I need to find that book so that I can bring it home. Call me a bookworm, but reading makes me relax. And I still have thirty minutes to find it. As I tried to find that book, some students around were staring at me while some greeted me. Damn, somebody must have got that book because I can't locate it the last time I saw it here. I will just borrow a different one. --- While I am at the very far part of the library that nobody would like to go to, I noticed that the table at the very far end of the room is occupied.

I needed to end this torturous back and forth before I did something really stupid. "So, where's the handsome devil?" My junior associate, Tara, asked with a giggle. She was like a younger sister to me, and I had brought her along today for one sole reason to keep things strictly business. "Don't call him that. He's just a client," I muttered, trying to sound indifferent. "Yeah, but this is literally a business luncheon. Why are we doing this here?" she asked, waving a hand at the fancy venue, clearly unimpressed.

Alden raised an eyebrow when I suddenly fell silent. “I don’t think I’ll be able to bring the book with me.” “Why?” “Because I can’t leave the library with it.” I gave him a sheepish look. “I left home without any money, and I didn’t bring a letter from Alpha Samuel. The librarian won’t let me take any of the books outside.” “Oh.” Alden glanced at the book before walking back toward me. He took it gently from my hands. “The librarian knows me. I come here almost every week.” He nodded toward the desk. “Let me speak to him. But I’ll be the one borrowing the book. You’ll bring it to me tomorrow, and I’ll return it myself.”

Callista, asked. “It doesn’t pay much, you know.” I nodded. “It’s fine. I need the extra work.” She gave me a pitying look, like she knew there was a story behind my tired face, but she didn’t ask. The library was quiet, rows of books breathing softly under yellow lamps. I sat behind the counter, stamping borrowed novels, checking returns, helping a few students find research books. Every hour, I’d check my phone. Every time the screen stayed blank, my chest would loosen just a little.

She walked to the desk of the woman and pretended to cough again. The library woman looked up with a frown again and Marianne said, “I can’t find the book.” “Someone must have first you to borrow it then,” the woman said and lowered her eyes on her book again. “But I used it here just two days ago.” “You are not the only one using the library, lady,” came the woman’s response. Marianne didn’t give up and she continued by saying, “I have to submit an English assignment and I need that book. Will you take responsibility if I fail?”

They were light and thin so she did not hesitate to put them on top of his stack. "Hey!" he complained but she just ignored him. "Follow me." They went to the librarian. She filled out the borrower's form and listed all the books she wanted to borrow. "Only 5 books maximum per person," the librarian said. She got his library card and filled it out as well. The librarian accepted both their cards. "Don't you dare lose a single book or else..." She threatened him when they were outside. "I won't," he promised before they returned to their classroom.

Annie answered with the same teasing tone that he used. "Courtesy isn't something that can not be done without anybody watching," he said and looked at me. "Good afternoon, your Majesty." "Good afternoon. I didn't expect to see you here," I said. "Same here. I came to return some books that the people at the small library in town borrowed." "The town's folk are allowed to borrow these?" "Something like that. They write down a list of books that they are looking for and I came to see if we have them here. If we do, I take them to the town library then return them after a month."

"I borrowed them from the library. I will give them back today but I will borrow another set." "We have a lot of books in our library. Just tell me what kind of books–" "No need, Rav. Let's go! The librarian said that I should give those back before eight!" When we had a vacant time, I went to the library to borrow some books. But I decided to pass by Ravnal's classroom. I was walking slowly as I tried to find him from outside. The silence of their classroom was amazing while they were listening to their teacher infront. I ran away before their teacher could see me and went to the library.

The book was glowing with darkness, and it was calling to her. She didn’t understand, but something told her she needed that book. The rest of her team was waiting by the door when she headed for the book. She approached the book without hesitation and pulled it off the shelf. Something told her to take it with her. She walked up to the librarian and checked the book out. That was the one good think about the archives. You can return anything to any of the other libraries.
