“Let me give you a ride.” I stopped. Slowly turned. And stared up at him. He looked calm. Too calm. That quiet, smug sort of confidence that told me he was already expecting me to say yes. I tightened my grip on my bag. “Last time I was in your car,” I said, voice clipped, “I ended up in your bed.” I scoffed then said, “You must have known me, why didn't you stup me that night? You should have said something about being my boss!” I snapped.
