Owned By My Father's Rival

Owned By My Father's Rival

We found a hotel in San Telmo, narrow streets and crumbling facades, the ghost of a more elegant age. Calle Florida was tourist central. Shops. Cafes. Street vendors selling leather goods and cheap souvenirs. And a bookstore. Small. Unassuming. The kind of place you walked past without noticing. Above it, an apartment. Sergei Volkov's apartment. "He's not going to just let us in," Lucien said. "Then we don't give him a choice." We waited until midnight. The street emptied. The shops closed. The tourists vanished. Lucien picked the lock on the bookstore door. We climbed the stairs in darkness, our footsteps muffled by the creak of old wood.

Désiré Me 2

Désiré Me 2

The tension in the penthouse has become a palpable entity, a third twin born from jealousy and paranoia. The black orchid has wilted, but its toxic scent still permeates the air. Voronin has sown a seed, and I feel its roots sinking deeply into me, intertwined with those that Sasha and Niko have planted. Eva A week after the gallery, a book arrives. A collection of 19th-century French poetry, bound in worn leather. No card. I open it to a page marked by a black silk ribbon. The poem is "To a Passerby" by Baudelaire.

My Mafia Husband Thought, I Was Innocent

My Mafia Husband Thought, I Was Innocent

The street was mine. The trap was nearly set. And Libreria Fioretta, my little garden of glass and ink, waited quietly for the fire that thought it could touch me.

Alpha Erik

Alpha Erik

Libro Vitae whispered its voice harmonious. "Libro Vitae, please show me where Alastair is hiding," I asked. The book hummed in response. Libro Vitae became warm in my hands. The cover opened, pages flipped continuously until they suddenly stopped. The words on the page jumped off the paper, floating into the air, wrapping themselves around me. In a blink of an eye, I was pulled into the book. Light flooded my vision. Every sound echoed around me. Voices raced past me, speaking in riddles. Some shouting, screaming, others a dull whisper. Libro Vitae's voice became louder as I watched the trees form around me.

Mrs Magnolia
Don’t let the price of the chapters fool you, these are the longest chapters I’ve ever seen. The price is well worth the amount you’re receiving. One of the best books yet, not only does the author do a wonderful job telling the story but also keeps you intrigued the entire time.

Love how this story is written. I have read the entire series and I can say it is a whirlwind of emotions. Alpha Erik is the first of the five book series and it stole my heart from the start. Definitely worth the read! Big chapters too!

The Billionaire's Bargain

The Billionaire's Bargain

I turned to stare at him again, but he just looked at me with an unnerving calm. As we got out of the car, my eyes were drawn to the magnificent fountain gracing the front of the main building. It was breathtaking. “Welcome to the Combs mansion. Please, come in,” he said, reaching for my hand. I followed him inside, his assistant having vanished without a trace. It was just the two of us. I gazed around the entrance hall, utterly wowed the moment I stepped into the living room. “I’ll show you to our room,” he said, leading me to the master bedroom. I knew James’ mansion was beautiful, but the Combs mansion was the very definition of opulence. The European style was undeniable, though there w

Touched by Forever

Paris asked, slightly offended. “Yes, you look like a kid,” Merch said, laughing. “Let us go, pretty boy,” Matori said, laughing. Matori left Paris outside the Library, “it is a 24-hour library.” Paris picked up Soraya’s scent, thinking, ‘will she remember me? Has her mind been wiped?’ Paris entered the library and followed the scent that was all over the place but he focused on her human scent and then he saw her, her nose in an ancient-looking book, ‘one would think she has read all the books there are to read by now.’

Revenge Of The Alpha's Reborn Mate

Revenge Of The Alpha's Reborn Mate

Calm Before the Storm (Isabella's POV) The library smelled like old paper and cedar polish. Sunlight slanted through tall windows, catching dust motes that floated lazy in the air. I’d slipped away after the snowball fight, cheeks still pink from cold and laughter, needing quiet to sort through the mess inside my head. Shelves stretched high, packed with leather-bound books that looked older than the pack itself. I pulled one down at random, thick, dark cover stamped with a crescent moon. Ancient Mate Bonds: Stories of the Moon Goddess’s Gift and Curse. My fingers traced the title. I sank into a worn armchair, opened it, and started reading.

Tropical Storms, Tropical Heat

Crowned with steep mansard roofs, the buildings and their angled slopes formed repeating patterns that ran along the boulevards like carefully arranged scales. Miguel studied her carefully. “So luxury does not tempt you?” “It tempts everyone,” Bobby admitted with a small smile. “But it shouldn’t change who you are and it certainly shouldn’t control you.” Miguel leaned back, amused. “So I may have brought the wrong companion to Paris.” She laughed out loud at that.

The Billionaire's Bargain

The Billionaire's Bargain

I took my phone and made a call then decided to get some ice cream and watch a movie before the stylists arrive, let’s leave making a scene until later, for now I just want to relax. ………. As the sun settles, I couldn’t help but feel a bit bad for the crowd of prestigious men and women already filling my mother’s extremely large and luxurious living area with an even more luxurious decoration to match the interior, some are gathered to celebrate a supposedly perfect union but the most part of them all came for the business association. This party was just an excuse for them to get in contact with more people in the business world, remembering this got me back on track since none of them would

The Billionaire’s Bartered Bride

The Billionaire’s Bartered Bride

"If you like it so much why don't we make an exchange? You give me Del Cole’s gallery and I will gladly turn in this nameless place," He said sitting on the stool next to her. "Why doesn't it have a name though?" She asked out of curiosity. "Isn't it obvious? I am bad at naming things, I am envious of you, you are so good at it, first the hotel, then the gallery, the name is so nice," He said in an envious tune. "But it's pretty simple, just the last part of my name with a Del, I watched a movie, I mean a drama, hotel del Luna, that's where I got the name from, it really interesting and I liked the name, not that I am good at naming things,"
