Break Blade Broken Blade Novels & Stories

Before Rio could deal with a deathly blow he saw the reality around him was breaking apart when he saw his right hand was obliterated out of existence. He looked back to see one of the blades exploding in a flash of violent yet beautiful light as the blade was released from its seals, it destroyed everything in its wake wiping what was left of the crystal chamber from existence. The Blade destroyed the stone, and spirit in the wake of its rage as it answered the call of its only master as it flew into the rubble destroying the stone that enveloped him.

After an agonizing wait, the doctor finally emerged from the room. "The blade has been successfully removed from her stomach." The doctor says. I sigh a breath of relief but it's shortlived due to the next words of the doctor. "It was hard to remove the blade because it has broken into fragments inside of her." My brows furrow at the same time Nox says behind me. "That isn't possible. The blades are unbreakable." There is no way the blade could have broken inside of her unless it was... "A fake," Zarek answers for me as if reading my mind.

After Silver Moon sent Wildflower away, she immediately swung her sword on her left side that reached Pierce’s face while also cutting her aimed needle into half. Afterwards, it was Blade’s turn to suffer. Her hands that were aiming to stab Silver Moon severely were broken as Luna immediately caught and broke them using her pure physical strength after kicking Wildflower and Pierce’s asses. The woman, Blade, screamed in terror upon seeing her now broken wrist. Afterwards, the pain came rushing in that made Blade whimpered in pain while her tears wouldn’t stop from falling. This disastrous scenario settled every prejudice the members have and made the banquet a lot more peaceful before Luna l

The two warriors crashed to the earth, free but shaken. Sebastian staggered, eyes wide with rage and surprise. He snarled, driving his blade upward in a furious slash. I dropped to one knee, shielding myself with my arm. The blade carved a line of smoke across my armor. I spat blood and pain, but roared back as I righted myself and struck at his wrist. A sickening crack told me I had broken bone. He dropped the blade with an oath and staggered backward, clutching his arm.

No one present—not the three bewildered thugs, nor the whimpering leader, Blade—had clearly seen the move. Skylar Vance’s hand, small and delicate, looked utterly frail, yet it had crushed the muscle and bone of Blade’s thick forearm with casual ease. The sound of splintering bone was relentless, a horrifying, staccato crack-crack-crack that merged sickeningly with Blade’s uncontrollable, animalistic shrieks. Under the weak, sputtering light bulb, the scene was an absolute nightmare.

Claude lost his composure entirely and raised his hand, swinging it toward my face. I braced myself for the blow, but the hand never landed. Before I could even blink, Dixon had stepped in, clamping a firm grip onto Claude's wrist mid-air. "Did you forget it's bad form to hit a girl, Moore?"

The remaining handle stayed in my grip and everyone stopped. I stared. "...I..." The blade...had snapped clean in half, not from Mara's strike. From mine. The training yard fell eerily quiet. "...Did you just..." "...Break it?" "...With one swing?" Someone picked up the broken half. "It wasn't rotten." Another hunter examined the wood. "It's solid oak..." Tomas walked over slowly, eyebrows raised. "...Lexi." "I..." He looked from the broken sword...to me. Then grinned. "You're getting scary."

“I didn’t mean to—” Before I could finish, Ryder shoved the stall door open and stormed toward me. I felt so much fear at that moment. Ryder was bigger than me and seemed to take pleasure in reminding me of it. I backed away instinctively. “Ryder, I really didn’t—” The slap came so fast I didn’t even see it. Pain exploded across my cheek. My head snapped sideways. For a second, all I heard was ringing. The sting spread across my face and into my ear. I stumbled and my eyes watered instantly.

The impact never came. Instead, the blade cracked. It did not bend, it did not graze, it did not even leave a mark that I could see from where I stood; it simply broke apart as though it had struck something far harder than steel, scattering uselessly like a failed intention that had lost its right to exist, and the disbelief that followed was so complete that it swallowed the entire arena whole before the noise returned all at once in a violent, overwhelming surge.

I desperately wanted to break something so I settled for smashing the mirror in with a fist. I grinned in satisfaction, watching the blood pool from my cuts.Pain was no alien feeling to me . I stauched the bleeding with first aid and walked out into the night. Chiara's face rose in my mind's eye and I pressed on my bandaged cut to inflict more pain on myself. I’d almost lost control. I’d almost touched her in a way I couldn’t take back. What the hell was wrong with me? For a man who’d spent his whole life in control, Chiara unraveled me. Her stubborn fire, her defiance, the way she looked at me like she would like to see the man under the money and the cold exterior. And now—this.
