We tumbled over the cold paving, our labored breaths and grunts filling the air. Just as Ronan's fist connected with my jaw, I caught a movement in the water. Stars exploded in front of me, blurring my vision. And then, in that moment of disorientation, I realized Destiny was no longer there. Ronan's scream of her name snapped me out of my daze. Without hesitation, we both plunged into the water. I reached her first, her waterlogged clothes dragging her down towards the pool's depths. With all my strength, I broke the surface, cradling her limp body in my arms. Ronan emerged, gasping for air, and rushed to the pool's edge, extending his hands to take Destiny from me. I hesitated, unsure.

Empty smile. “Fine,” I whispered. “If that’s how it has to be…” My grip tightened around the broken piece. “Then I’ll make sure none of you survive it.” My eyes lifted. Focused. Determined. Filled with something darker than anger. Something final. “Kharl… Celeste… and those children…” My voice dropped into a low whisper. “You will all die.” The piece in my hand cracked under the pressure as I tightened my grip further, blood dripping slowly to the floor.

She asked herself but the answer is nothing except hurting him at the end. She thought he would’ve fallen in love with someone else in these past years but he didn’t just like her. Even for her, life is tough. But he got all the chances to get himself another woman but he waited for her, not intentionally. Is this called destiny? Once Charlotte prayed to God that she has been with her parents and Jaxson lifelong, after seeing the shooting star. But her prayers didn’t happen and she loved all her faith in the Almighty. They again met now; she wondered what Jaxson had prayed at that time.

I shouted at him with tears flowing down my eyes. " Oh shut up you orphan bitch, don’t fucking ever raise your voice at me and after this lesson, if you want more, I have many other men like him," he said laughing at me . . . I’m begging you, please! Tiara said, kneeling on her knee. ‘Selfish as always, don’t you? This curse will end when you sacrifice your life selflessly for someone else, and no power on earth can change it.’

"Beelzebub" "please spare her life," Destiny pleaded with tears in her beautiful blue ocean eyes. Though I had intended to punish both Destiny and June, I found myself unable to hurt her. Instead, I transferred my aggression to her friend June, knowing how much June meant to her. But seeing Destiny beg at my feet, crying, shattered my heart. I couldn't bear it any longer, so I softened my grip on June, allowing her to breathe again. "Thank you," I heard Destiny whisper, and I left them.

Her grandfather's jaw dropped in shock and his eyes turned sad. Something broke inside Destiny's chest and she felt her heart sinking. She knows it was bad to give her grandfather such an ultimatum. But it was the only way. It hurts her even more that she's doing this because she knows that she's Dennis Blackmore's weakness. "You..you don't mean this child." Dennis's voice broke. Destiny looked away, her gaze settling on the busy city beneath her. "You want to try me?" She muttered, adding too much coldness to her words. Her voice was unrecognizable.

But I couldn’t shake the feeling that I’d seen this before — in that red desert, under the three moons. The devil had knocked. And now she wanted in.

We sit down and he begins. “A lot of years ago a prophecy was written that a day would come when creatures of darkness would awaken, and they would gradually start hunting the people on earth, until they no longer existed and darkness would rule. Another prophecy was written that a girl would be born that would be able to withstand all the powers that are needed to be able to defeat this darkness”. “For weeks we have been searching for you with the clues that have been left within the prophecy. The girl will have no living relative.” At the mention of my parents death I had to hold the tears down.

Adian POV I twisted and turned on my bed unable to sleep. It's not like I didn't try... but whenever I would close my eyes her crying face appeard making me guilty every time. I know i should have controlled myself and didn't act so rashly. But what's done is done.. it can't be undone anymore. I signed again thinking about Jes words.... How can I call this love when it has been only few days since I met her... I don't know if she is my soulmate or not or this feelings can be given a name but I know for sure that I'll make her mine..... "Amara....
