The Rogue Luna's Revenge

The Rogue Luna's Revenge

Not silver—black, obsidian, carved with symbols that seemed to drink the light. "The Shepherd's blade," she said. "She gave it to me before she died. As a promise." "A promise of what?" "That you would be the one to end me. Or I you." I drew my own blade. Simple steel. Dax's gift. "Then let's end it." --- She attacked. Not like the Breaker—wild, strong. The Arbiter was precise. Every strike calculated. Every movement efficient. I blocked. Dodged. Countered. She was faster than I expected.

A Marriage of Swords

A Marriage of Swords

It smelled of damp stone, old hay, and solitude. Makil was already there, warming up with a series of fluid stretches that further betrayed his training. He wore similar clothes to yesterday, and two practice longswords were thrust into the ground at the center of the yard. Leigh arrived silently, a shadow detaching from the deeper shadows of the archway. She'd re-braided her hair tightly. She said nothing, simply walked to the center, pulled one sword from the earth, and tested its weight. "No rules," Makil said, pulling the other. "First to yield, or be disarmed."

Shield Me

Shield Me

I cleared the first 50 meters, taking a rough corner that snagged my shirt just a bit when I saw a flash of something move. Getting into a kneeling position I let my fingers release the small throwing dagger from the pocket of my pants. I gripped it ready to fly it to my target when suddenly my dominant arm was ripped down by a German Shephard. The vicious beast shook me with all his might and caused me to fall backward. I felt it's teeth sank into my flesh and I groaned in both pain and frustration. I wasn't expecting this to be a part of the hunt tonight.

The King and His Blade

The King and His Blade

The memories of the borderlands, the hunts, the bloodshed—they all blurred into the background. Only the blade remained. Steel. Control. Focus. He spun the sword once and brought it down in a clean strike that would have split a skull from crown to jaw. The sound echoed softly across the courtyard. Then— “You train early.” The voice came from behind him. Deep. Smooth. Ancient. Adrian froze instantly. His instincts reacted before his thoughts did. He turned and dropped to one knee. “My king.” King Vaelreth stood near the entrance of the courtyard, his dark cloak stirring slightly in the cold morning wind.

Broken

Broken

God, please! But it was too late for me. He kicked in my bathroom door, and he smirked at me, like "you can't run from me you whore." Then he grabbed me by hair. {Amy screaming 😱} let me go. Let me go. He slapped me so hard that I saw stars. Before I knew it I fainted. * a few minutes later*

The Wolf’s Bride

The Wolf’s Bride

“Andrius Moonshade.” Ivan wore a frosty grin on his face as he glared at Andrius. “This saber is named the Jade Breaker, and it has been with me for 30 years. It is forged using reinforced steel and metal. Quenched using the icy water of the far north, it’s so sharp that it cuts through metal like paper. One slash can freeze even your bones. It is a treasure that is unmatched in the world.” Then, he swung the saber softly. The glares from the blade almost blinded everyone, and a blast of frosty gale assaulted everyone.

Sword of Eryndor

Sword of Eryndor

Eryndor's Shadowing dagger seemed to dance in the moonlight, its dark blade slicing through the air with a haunting screee-ksss. Each strike landed with a thud-thwack-thoom, sending tremors through the troop's warriors. The troop's hearts raced as the violent zing-ting-zap of clashing daggers filled the field. The savages of warriors, fueled by fury and loyalty, clashed in a frenzy of arms and teeth. The ground grew slick with blood, the earthy smell mingling with the metallic tang of steel. Jack Wolf stood firm, his Moon-whisper spear shining with a soft, ethereal light. He parried Eryndor's strikes with a precision born of desperation, his movements a blur of speed and strength.

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

Consequently, what seemed to be a giant sword actually had a weight comparable to a heavy hammer, which was a nightmare for the unprepared enemies. The Armor-Breaker, also known as the armor-breaking inscription, could enhance the sharpness of the Wave-Breaking Sword. Once Caspian slashed the weapon, the sword light would form a larger arc. The original arc light was about four meters, and now it could be more than six meters. Not only that, but the attack range was larger, and the blade was sharper. In the past, splitting steel plates might be like chopping wood, but it was now as easy as tearing a piece of paper.

What happened to the original writer of this book? The new writer is a far cry from the first one in terms of style, creativity, dialogue and story telling. He has turned a once very arresting story into a very boring one. It is sad.

Life After Prison

Life After Prison

His broadsword radiated a dark glow in his hand, and the knife seemed to be strong enough to cleave effortlessly through any material. Moving at extreme speed, the slash's trajectory was hurtling toward Severin like a comet. A murderous intent was unleashed, and seemed to take on a material form as it produced a screeching sound in the surrounding space. The broadsword was so sharp that it pierced through the Green Shield within moments. Its force did not diminish in the slightest as it continued to make its way toward Severin. Blake sported a proud smile as he anticipated securing triumph over Severin, but that smile froze instantly as Severin calmly extended his arm to block the broadsword

one of the best novels of this site. well written and great story. The only problem is Monday you get a lot of pages and chapters, and the rest of the week you get a page a day. Come on the author and this site can do better. Really about to stop reading because of this.

Broken Strings

Broken Strings

Fuck those sacrifices. “No matter what, once in your life, someone will hurt you, that someone will take all that you are, and rip it into pieces and they won’t even watch where the pieces land. But through breakdown, you’ll learn that you’re strong, and no matter how hard they destroy you, you can conquer anyone. You’re strong, Melissa. I know, I’ve witnessed it. ” Eugene said softly.
