I said frustrated. SLAP! The sound of his hard hand against my cheek echoed in the room. I slowly watched him walk to the other side of my cell, I heard the sound of a knife slashing against the cold air. Heavy footsteps marched back towards me. Soon, his face was centimetres away from mine, and his breath fanned against my face. A sharp point was then placed on Aspen's mark, sliding and ripping off the mark that was on my neck. Sudden screams left my mouth, and the bond that was between me and Aspen was gone, I couldn't feel him anymore. ***

JORDAN The door creaks open. Voices spill into the bathroom—louder, closer. My entire body jerks. He doesn’t speak, doesn’t move. And I—I can’t breathe. My heart slams against my ribs as the men enter, laughing, dragging the reek of cigarette smoke and sweat with them. I press myself tighter against Alaric’s chest, trying to disappear. I expect him to push me away, maybe toss some smug comment at me, or reveal me just to watch me squirm. But he doesn’t.

Something that made my breath catch for a different reason. I closed my eyes for a second, trying to push it down. I felt him shift slightly, just enough that his face was closer now, his breath brushing faintly against my temple. “Breathe,” he murmured. I tried. I really did. But it came out uneven. The footsteps outside shifted again. My grip tightened on his shirt without thinking. My body tensed completely. Seconds stretched. And then—the sound of footsteps moving away. My lungs burned as I finally let out a breath I hadn’t realized I was holding. But I didn’t move. None of us did, because we couldn’t be sure.

I wasn’t breathing anymore. My lips had gone cold, pale, the color drained from me until I looked like a porcelain doll someone had left behind. Nina asked the doctors to keep my body in the morgue. Following the voice message I’d left her, she didn’t make many arrangements—she just quietly walked away. The cold swallowed me whole. Darkness closed in. Yet somehow, I could still see. Still hear. Across the city, thunder cracked open the night. Susan whimpered into his chest, her body trembling prettily.

“Who gave them the right to act so brazenly? Who gave them the nerve?” Her voice echoes through the room, raw and jagged, like something breaking beyond repair. For a moment, all I can hear is her breathing—uneven, sharp, struggling to keep up with the storm she just unleashed. I don’t move. I don’t interrupt. Because this… this isn’t something you step into. This is something you stand through. Her shoulders shake as she drags in another breath, her fingers curling into fists at her sides like she’s holding herself together by force alone.

A tooth fell off from his mouth as the amount of impact is beyond control. Robert felt dizzy as his world is spinning. Soon then, Robert felt all his body so sore and painful. Like he was being peeled alive. He panted. His chest rose and fell with rapid breaths. His eyes open and widen with veins popping on his neck. “Aaaaaaaahhhh!!!”

Luciana stood in disbelief, as she gazed into the distance where the men had disappeared into. For a good one minute, she was unable to react. Then a long suffocating breath escaped her lips, and she felt herself stagger a little. The cool wind wasn't comforting anymore, it was chilling and biting her skin. She hugged herself with her hands as if that would protect her from the reality that had just befell her. She felt painful knots forming on the pit of her stomach.

At first , her hand forms a circle and then a triangle – her mouth vomit words that none of us understand. “Who are you and what do you think you are doing?!” Andrew asks again , before raising to his feet. However , the woman continues to ignore him and chant. “This is your last warning to speak –“ Britney and I , watch in absolute horror as a small wave of some sort emits from her hands which begins to float towards us. Andrew is the first to come into contact with it , and this making him fall to the fall with a heavy thud. I rise from my bed , watching as Britney also fall unconscious by it’s touch – my sudden movement earns me a growl from the wolf. I start backing away , trying my har

well I tried it and it worked . Me and cole are done for the day , while it may take boys longer than that , so we are going to our room to rest . when I entered I felt as if something was wrong . I tried to use my flame to see in dark but it was as if my powers were not working , suddenly the door slammed close and ,my mouth was covered before I could scream . something covered my face which made me drowsy and before completely blacking out I saw a pair of red eyes and heard him saying
