A moment later, he pressed his nose against my neck and took a deep breath in, breathing in my scent the way he always does. Another sound of pure relief slips past his lips as he exhales. A second later, he pressed his nose firmly against his favorite spot on my neck and took a deep breath, inhaling my scent the way he always does.

Sincerity in voice tells me it all true. I smile at him. "I like you too Christian, so much." He leans in to kiss me but realization hits me and I gasp. "What's wrong!?" He asks with a very worried voice. "Morning breath," I mumble placing a hand on my mouth. "Isn't it too late now to remember that?" "Better late than never." I shrug making my run to the bathroom and giving Christian a flying kiss. Then hearing him mumble something like 'she is gonna be the death of me.'

I stayed there frozen on my seat, unable to move an inch. “Breather in and breathe out. Breathe in and then breathe out….” I kept chanting those continuously until I could finally calm my nerves. “You can do this, Aiv! You’re a strong girl.” I mentally prepared myself and slowly turned my head to see the “person” staring right through the window at me with its dark ashy green eyes. I felt a chill run down my spine. It was like someone had poured icy cold water on my naked body in winter. Our eyes locked for a second,but before I could come back to my consciousness, he disappeared.

I released the breath at the same rate. This meditation breathing was one of the things I'd remembered from the stack of pregnancy books I'd picked up at the library. They said that one should take a moment to focus on their breath whenever their stressed. This was for two reasons. The first, is that stress is bad for the mom. The second, and more important reason, is that stress is horrible for the baby. So anything I could do to help alleviate unnecessary anxiety inside of me was something I was willing to try. It was hard, though. Especially with everything that was currently happening in my life.
