Saratan’s P.O.V I was still feeling haunted after Mane, the scary vampire took Dregen along with him. Dregen was clearly different from him. He had a cold star in his heart but it was not as dark as Mane, the look in his eyes when he tried to touch me after I stumbled into the study was empty and hard.
