She is something special. Turns out River was a rebel, loved speed, and sports. She is a hard core Texan fan and loves watching the Houston Rockets, never missing a game. Apparently, she played basketball since middle school, as a point guard, and was good at it. What surprised me the most was when she spoke about River and her bike. She told me how she traded her old bike for a faster one that she got at the age of 16. River loves her bike so much that she named her Raven because she is matte black. Well, no wonder she gave me that name. She also told me that where she is from they’re big on riding dirt bikes and off-road vehicles called buggies.

He kneels beside me, his expression tight with determination. “What are you doing?” I ask, my voice breaking as I clutch at River’s still form. “Trust me,” Brook says simply, his voice steady. He holds his hands over River’s chest, the water gathered in his palms shimmering with an otherworldly light. With a fluid motion, he pours the water over River’s wounds, and I watch, breathless, as the liquid seeps into his skin. At first, nothing happens, and my heart sinks, hopelessness spreading through my body as I realize that all of this has been for nothing. If the waters can’t even heal River, whose wounds are fresh, how will they help my mother?

Aria asked and Britt and I wordlessly agreed as I moved over lifting the remote off the nightstand handing it to Aria. "What are we watching?" Britt asked her. "Princess and the frog," she replied finding the movie earning smiles from us both. Contentment held me in its grasp and at that moment, I could envision forever. Even though the world was still falling apart I was at peace because I found love not only in myself but in the people around me and I guess that's as close to happily ever after as one can get. Nothing in life is perfect and ever will be if you let society define your perception of perfection.

I mind-linked the warriors to take the pups to the pediatric wing of the hospital. I told them to be gentle and kind to them so they didn’t close off from our help. I then link only Nichole to tell her about the pups I wanted her to check and cleanse. After the pups were out of sight I returned my attention to Rose and her twin brother Jupiter. Before I could ask where the pups were from exactly, Rose spoke first. “I want to see her, I bet she is gorgeous just like my vision.” She said as she began to glow again.

I turn to watch Brooke as she grabs for the branch overhead with her free hand, stepping down beside me and taking in her surroundings. Above us is a rocky ridge, where a thin waterfall streams down to form a wide, deep pool of water. In the dark and with the soft illumination of the moonlight, the place looks almost magical. I hear Brooke draw a shallow breath, her hand tightening in mine as she lifts the other to my bicep. “It’s beautiful,” she breathes, looking up at me with wide eyes. I can’t contain the smile that spreads across my face. “You up for a swim?” I ask, waggling my eyebrows.

Taking in a sharp breath, he sat down on the bed of the brook and watched the water flowing around him. As the black heavens kept a watch with its eyes in the form of stars over the jungle, the brook flowed onwards to meet her destiny… the ocean. The brook chattered around him, carrying leaves that became boats and twigs. Feeling a little better, Ryder closed his eyes and then submerged in the water. Minutes later, he felt small fish gathering around his wounds, peeling away the abraded skin, removing the thorns and tickling his skin. He relaxed a great deal. When he came out, he smoothed his hair back, as his shoulder and back muscles rippled under his skin. Ryder walked out of the brook. H

He squinted into the thickening mist and looked the trees once more. "Heather!" he yelled. "Heather!!" The water begun to stream over the rough sides, and Brock moved back out of its way. Once it hit the grass, a few of it doused into the ground, but not sufficient. The ground was as of now over soaked, and it rapidly started to surge the region.
