Then he stood gracefully in front of Bruce. Without any extra motion, he swiped on Bruce’s face. Ouch--- _ _" Immediately, Liam beat Bruce again. Bruce couldn't stand it and begged for mercy. "Spare me, spare me... I know I was wrong... I really know I was wrong..." Liam ignored Bruce's begging for mercy and continued to slam him.

Still, Charlie's dramatic entrance drew his gang's attention. The Korean couple saw that, traded glances, and promptly ran away, disappearing from sight before long. Bruce simply ignored them, resting his bat over his shoulder, and strode toward Charlie. Charlie didn't even dodge as he watched Bruce swing his bat at his face with all his strength. And just before the bat hit, he calmly reached out, gently catching the tip. Suddenly, Bruce's mean swing seemed to lose all momentum, while he also turned still. However, the energy he mustered in his own body didn't fade.

He struggled pulling on his hand trying to realize his claws so he could get space between them. Lance grinned watching Bruce panic. He winked at Bruce and then slowly pressed his claws into Bruce’s stomach. Bruce let out a small yell of pain as he felt them puncture his abdomen. Bruce’s free hand went to try to stop Lance from pushing them further into his stomach. Lance smirked watching Bruce make a poor decision. Lance acted quickly and plunged his free hand’s claws into Bruce’s throat. Bruce's eyes widened as he quickly realized his error. Bruce gripped Lance by the arm as his eyes started to roll back into his head. Blood seeping out around Lance’s claws.

The beast lunged, but Bruce dodged with a speed that left even Malrik watching with intrigue. With a roar, Bruce leaped onto the beast’s back, his claws tearing through its tough hide. The creature bucked and thrashed, but Bruce’s grip was ironclad. He drove his claws into its spine, channeling every ounce of his strength into the attack. With one final, ear-piercing roar, the beast collapsed, its body dissolving into black smoke that dissipated into the air.

Compared to him, even Bruce was a much better option! Ruo Han and Klick watched as Bruce left and didn’t say a word. Then, Ruo Han sighed. He could understand Bruce’s frustration. However, the shark merman might be a little too dense to truly understand why he was reacting in such a manner. He pitied Klick who looked like he was very hurt.
