Ever since I was young, I knew that my parents' work was unique. My father was a detective who had solved many major cases, while my mother was a forensic artist who was capable of finding clues from the victim's bones. Together, they solved numerous cases. Their most famous one was the White Bone Case five years ago. It was a case about a criminal gang who abducted and killed homeless people before using their bones to smuggle drugs. Since these were real human bones, they could easily avoid being caught by claiming these bones as medical materials.

Instead, I was breathing easily. My chest felt different. It was as if something inside it was opening and closing. I looked down and saw slits that had split open along both sides of my ribcage. They pulsed greedily, filtering the seawater. Gills. Horror instantly flooded my senses. I wanted to scream, but all that came out was bubbles. Right at that moment, I heard a song in the distance.

They chanted for the win as the swimmers fastily swam towards the other end to complete lap one. Giving a nod at Stacy and Flora, I signaled at the person who sat next to the music system. He immediately changed the previous song to a new one---Bumpy Ride by Mohombi. Leveling up the sound, I took the lead for the dance. Throwing my pom poms in the air, I leaped high in the air with my legs in a split as I clapped my hands for the crowd to get more extreme. Getting overwhelmed with the swimmers who were on their third lap, Stacy and Flora, along with the girls got in the rhythm with the sound.
