Bucky's Son Arrested Novels & Stories

"He got arrested." "What?" Gamma Micah's fingers grew shaky and the glass almost slipped from his grip. "Excuse me." Carefully, he placed the glass on the table, clearing his throat. "Could you repeat that?" "Zachary Orlando, your son, got arrested. It's been hours now." "I don't understand. Who would ever get my son arrested?" It was impossible that anyone would dare. If it wasn't Luther saying it, he would have called this a prank. "Our darling Alpha Hillary." Luther made a facetious gesture of reverence, stretching open his arms in the air.

Jefferey Richard Hutton had just gotten the call of Antonio's arrest and couldn't hold in his excitement. At long last, the devil had been arrested, and this time he had enough leverage to take him away from the streets for a long time. The excitement from her father didn't go unnoticed by the ten-year-old daughter. Walking towards him running her tongue over her new braces she held his hand. "Daddy, why are you so happy?" It wasn't his or her birthday for sure.

One officer marched up to Damian and slapped handcuffs on him. "Damian Dunn, you're under arrest for buying and selling college entrance exam answers. And Hugo Dunn—" the officer nodded toward him, "you're coming too." Damian's face turned ghost-white. "It's him! It's all him! I had no idea! Arrest him, not me!" he stammered, jabbing a finger at Hugo. The lead cop raised an eyebrow. "Wow. A father throwing his son under the bus. That's new." Damian flailed. "He's not my son! I swear, he's not my kid!"

"Jackson." He silenced the phone and put it in his pocket. It continued to vibrate against his hip like a second heartbeat, insistent and arrhythmic and impossible to ignore. They flagged a car and sat in the back in silence as the city moved around them, oblivious, the way cities always were when private worlds were collapsing. Richard Maddox arrested on federal charges. Conspiracy. Fraud. Accessory to murder. The words kept cycling through Jackson's mind, flat and strange, stripped of meaning through repetition. His father had committed crimes. His father was in custody. His father's name, his name, was going to be on every headline before the night was over.

Strong arms lifting me off the ground. I'd pressed my face into his chest. His scent had cut through the panic and the heat, something deep and steady, and my wolf had surged forward so hard I'd thought I was going to shift right there. For some reason, even through the blur, part of me had wanted to stay in those arms. But that was just the drugs. Just the heat making everything feel bigger than it was. Derek was still typing on his phone. "Your father wants to know why his daughter is naked in a hotel room the morning after the ball." He didn't look up. "I sent him the pictures."

Bewildered, I desperately begged them, "Please, save my son!" No one answered. As I watched the van pull further and further away from the hospital, I lunged forward to grab the steering wheel, but a hard kick sent me crashing to the back of the van. Then, I found myself pinned to the floor under someone's shoe. "Please take my son back to the hospital! I'm begging you! I'll give you whatever you want!" After a long, bumpy ride, the van finally stopped. They dragged us out and dumped us in a deserted area in the middle of nowhere.

My assistant… a kid fresh out of college, eager and stupid, he stood in the doorway clutching a folder to his chest like a shield. His face went a shade whiter when he saw mine. I must’ve looked worse than I realized. “Well?” I snapped. He flinched and swallowed hard. “Sir, uh… Velcro management just called. It’s… it’s about your son.” My stomach sank. “What about him?” “He’s, uh… causing a scene. A big one. Security couldn’t calm him down, and it, um… escalated. They’re dragging him to a detention center.” I pinched the bridge of my nose and exhaled sharply through my teeth. “Leave him there.”

"Ten minutes ago, Rusty suffered another fit of rage inside the common cells, tried to murder two headquarters guards with a bar, and the state ordered his immediate transfer to the maximum security dungeon of the federal prison. The case has already left our local jurisdiction. We no longer have access to his papers, Mr. Bayron." I squeezed the phone with a destructive fury that almost broke the screen. Shit. That goddamn idiot was completely lost out of control, digging his own grave and dragging the last name down with him. "Listen well. Keep the perimeter watched and don't let him speak to any public defender," I hissed to the officer. "I will handle the matter. I will speak with Frederi

As soon as we arrived at Arthur's school, John and Bryan stayed in the car, and I ran towards the principal's office, but when I got there, to my surprise, my parents were here too. "Hi, can I help you?" The principal spoke seeing me. "I came to pick up Arthur Muller, they called me informing me that he was not well." I replied ignoring the presence of the two who were looking at me. "And you are his what?" The principal asked. "Because they are his grandparents and they said they came to get him!" She explained, and then I stared at the two in disbelief. What do you mean, they came to pick up my son? Even more so without telling me?

A week ago. Brenda was standing on my front porch. "Harper! You need to get out here and deal with this!" She was holding Tiffany in her arms. The girl was covered in bruises, looking like she’d just come from the emergency room. "Your bodybuilder son did this!" Brenda’s voice could shatter glass. Her scream shattered a rare moment of peace. I had just closed a major deal. "My son never left the house." "Don’t play dumb with me!" Tiffany lifted her head weakly, tears in her eyes. "Last night… in the backyard… Cooper… he… he was terrifying."
