Dear [Reader], I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to extend my sincerest apologies for the delay in releasing the next chapters of [CEOs Play Thing]. I understand and deeply regret any frustration or disappointment this may have caused you. I want to be transparent with you about the reason behind the delay. Over the past few months, I have been grappling with significant mental health challenges. These struggles have affected my ability to focus and maintain the creative momentum needed to produce new chapters of the book. It has been a difficult period, and I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience it has caused you as a reader.

Pissed at myself for pushing away the one thing in my life that I loved more than my need for retribution against Ricci. *************************** AUTHOR NOTE: Sorry for delays with updates! As the seconds decreases, Byul eventually burst into a cold sweat. F**k you Odd-kun! Byul turned his head and started to survey the hallway. How can he escape if he can’t even leave this corridor? Byul look at the hallway end and sighed. ‘This is the worst.’ He wasn’t great at puzzle and solving games you see, so being faced with an escape problem was a very difficult task for him. I knew it. I’m cursed with luck. Byul thought and look at the floating screen. A minute had passed.

Chapter 8 Cain POV The rogues are retreating, bastards did not deserve to get away. I catch my breath before pursuing them. I needed one alive, I had questions that needed to be answered. I rush at a lone rogue, our bodies colliding and barreling into a tree. My back took the brunt of the impact.

"Or because the scene revealed something they weren't ready to address. The novel had structure problems in Volume 7. The pacing was inconsistent and several plot threads were dropped without explanation." The woman picked up her tea again. She drank slowly, and Kael had the impression that she was using the action to buy time while she processed what he had said. "You're claiming," she said, "that you have knowledge of events that haven't happened because you read them in a story that described this world as fiction." "Yes." "And you believe I'm a character from that story." "I believe you're Seraphyne Voss, formerly known as the Crimson Empress, Void-tier Awakener, and the final antagonist

Linda shot me a look and whispered so only I could hear, “When you’re young, you don’t appreciate how great younger guys are. You waste time chasing older men instead.” I nodded, impressed. Maybe she never liked Calvin that much in the first place. With her target shifted, I finally relaxed. Caleb wasn’t even mentioned in the original storyline, so he wouldn’t fall under the heroine’s influence. More people arrived, and someone suggested playing King’s Game. A girl drew the King card and waved it proudly. “Whoever has cards two and six has to kiss. Full tongue.” I had planned to play a couple of rounds, sneak away, and go upstairs to eavesdrop. I have now come to the end of book one of my Cursed by the gods series. It has been a long journey I'm not gonna lie. I lost commitment along the way of writing this book, lost inspiration, even changed the plan I initially had for it. I am really glad that I got to finish it and if you stayed till the end I just want to say thank you for even choosing this book in the first place. I will start with the second book as soon as possible and do my best to make that one better. I hope I have been able to tell you a good story dear readers and once again I thank you for reading Cursed by the gods. Thank you.

I pushed him away and tried to kick his groin, but the second bandit seized my legs and pressed it steady against the soil. “No! No! Don’t do this!” Tears filled my vision then. My blood ran cold. I looked up into the sky, slightly covered by the leaves, and prayed mentally for a miracle. Any kind of miracle was welcomed now. *** A/N: I apologize for the lateness of my update, my dear readers.
