THE HEIRESS IN OVERALLS

THE HEIRESS IN OVERALLS

She was just writing because she wanted to without feeling like she had to hurry. Down the hall the computers were humming with a blue light. The program that showed how many people were reading her books The Architecture of Trust was open on her screen. It said that millions of people were reading her books on GoodNovel and NovelSnack.. She did not care about that as much as she used to. The special system she and Leo had built was working by itself and it was keeping her books safe from people who might try to control her. She did not have to check how many people were reading her books all the time. She was happy about that.

Novaturient: Crescent Lovers

Novaturient: Crescent Lovers

The spiraled staircase was centralized in the space, leading to a mezzanine floor, its border fenced with golden railings that looked upon the floor she stood on. Noah wasn’t lying when he said that there were a thousand books here, if not more. Ophelia suddenly started to understand Noah’s love for this place, because she was falling in love with it too. “I used to spend my time here,” Noah asked, his eyes confined before him, as though he saw beyond anyone. “The others used to say that I must be getting bored staying here. But-” He paused and walked ahead to the nearest shelves, his hands stroking the first row of stacked books. The feeling underneath his fingertips seemed to give him life

Fyi, Mr. Ex, I am Billionaire's Heiress

Fyi, Mr. Ex, I am Billionaire's Heiress

I nodded and closed the book I was reading and one of the pages cut my hand as I was turning it, then put it in my bag. "What book is that?" Noah asked while grabbing his bag. Q He held my hand while he checked the stove, the electricity, the doors and windows. It was his routine every time we went out. Sometimes I think Noah has a bit of OCD, because he is always so meticulous and precise about everything, which to me often seems a bit excessive since I am not very good at anything myself. Since getting married, Noah and I decided to live in Noah's apartment. The place was very spacious, occupying a special floor in a high-end apartment building that was part of KJ construction, one of Jere

Love in the Storm

Love in the Storm

I couldn’t wait to give it a go but, it will take a couple more days instead of weeks thanks to Lileth and her magic potions. After dinner, I decided to take a look around my mother’s library. Taking a book from her collection, I grabbed a blanket and sat in the reading nook which was a large sofa or mattress built into a boxed area in front of the window. It had fairy lights hanging above and was also covered in pillows and cushions. The scent in the room was my mother’s and it reminded me of her. I felt so relaxed and at ease that after reading a few chapters, I felt it was time for bed. I folded up the blanket and placed the book on the table before heading to my room.

A Different Kind of Alpha: Blood Oath

A Different Kind of Alpha: Blood Oath

“Loving the way your mind works. And a bookshelf. Wall to wall. I want to bring my favorite books. I’ll need something to occupy me in the rare moments that we’re not fucking.” “Don’t count on having much time to read. You’ll only need a tiny bookshelf.” We spend the next hour building the place in the air between us. Cedar wood for the walls, near the White Falls, at least ten miles from the nearest neighbor. We argue about whether or not we need a garden. Kieran insists we do, but I strongly suspect we’d kill every plant. Neither of us has much patience. It’s a fantasy. It’s a castle in the sky. But for a little while, it feels real. It feels like a promise of the future.

I feel like the story was drawn out and slow at some points, but overall it was good. I love Kieran and Alexei as a couple and how they interacted with the other characters. The only thing I would change is having them switch occasionally in the bedroom since Kieran is an alpha too.

I'm speechless as I look around at the spacious first floor of the house. "You ready for the tour, babydoll?" Aiden asks holding his hand out for me to take. I nod my head and take his hand. He shows me the library with the floor to ceiling shelving filled with books. A reading nook built into a bay window over looking a garden with a small pond. A fireplace in which a man could stand inside with his arms stretched wide.

Under the Mistletoe with my Ex's Brother

Under the Mistletoe with my Ex's Brother

I'd told him maybe for his birthday, knowing I couldn't afford it but hating to disappoint him. Shelves lined another wall, already filled with toys. Action figures. Building blocks. Books arranged by reading level. A reading nook in the corner with oversized pillows and a small lamp, perfect for the bedtime stories Jace insisted on every night. There was even a small telescope by the window—Jace had been fascinated by stars lately, constantly asking questions I couldn't always answer. Someone had put thought into this. Real thought. This wasn't a generic child's room decorated by an interior designer given a budget and a brief. This was personal.

The Forbidden Princess and her Mafia Men

Whoa, magnificent. Shaped like an octagon, the room was filled from floor to ceiling in books. Every self-piled high with books upon books. Scanning the room I can’t help but notice multiple ladders and even a spiral staircase which led to a small little reading nook. Smiling, I knew exactly where I would spend most of my days.

The Tale Of Roman's Obsession

The Tale Of Roman's Obsession

Noah says while nodding his head in understanding. “You always come here to get books?” I ask him while looking around for Shirley my co-worker who usually handles all the customers. “Yeah, I do. You guys always have the latest novels.” Noah says with a wide grin. I step out from behind the desk and ask him to follow me. “Is there any particular genre you're looking for right now?” I ask him while leading him to the aisle housing self-development books, figuring that's the kind of books he would want. “Well it's not for me, so I was hoping you would help out.” Noah says with a sheepish smile.

Near the corner, a floor-to-ceiling built-in shelf housed neat rows of hardbound storybooks and collectible models. A plush navy area rug sprawled across most of the floor, partially covered by scattered wooden train tracks and a few half-built marble runs. His bed was a massive four-poster, draped with an embroidered duvet featuring subtle superhero characters. A sleek desk sat against one wall with enough space for his art supplies to be laid out like a tiny architect’s studio. There was even a small modern reading nook by the window with velvet cushions and a smart lamp that adjusted the brightness automatically.
