Ben Carter climbed with the surprising agility of a man who has run away from many angry creditors. Below us, the sea of silver crashed against the walls. The beetles began to pile on top of each other, forming living pyramids, trying to reach us. "Shoot them!" Haley shrieked, clutching her backpack like a life preserver. "Marcus, shoot them!" Marcus racked the slide of his heavy assault shotgun. BOOM. The buckshot hit the swarm. A dozen beetles shattered, sparking as their micro-capacitors exploded. But it was like throwing a pebble into a woodchipper. The swarm didn't even pause. They simply ate the lead pellets and kept climbing.

Christian smiled at him and he smiled back, then their gazes went back directly to their class mayor who gathered them around for a meeting. "A monster appeared in the middle of Alex's and Jimmy's bathing session. Thankfully, Alex was able to carry with him the syringe that came from the turtle monster who we defeated and successfully acquired its power. However, I didn't know why the bees I sent weren't able to deliver their message to me if the monster weren't too far from our vicinity." Kent explained.

On Rain’s mark, they sprinted through the path and headed outside while killing the ants that came from the sides. “Where are they taking the weapons?” Gon asked. He was the only one that was not busy with dealing with the ants since the others were already decimating them. “Nowhere good. We’ll figure it out later.” Rain replied. They made it outside where the mist was really thick. Then they saw where the mist was coming from. A pair of grey bombardier beetles that were releasing the mist were standing by the door. “[Angel’s Spear]! [Angel’s Spear]!” Rain acted quickly and threw two spears of light at the beetles, instantly killing them.

“Hunters.” Then everything explodes into chaos.

Hunter smiled and said, "Ms. Belle, you should go and look after the Hannibal boss instead. I'll be back before you know it. Don't worry about me." Belle still believed that it was far too dangerous for Hunter to enter the tomb alone. Besides, it was completely unnecessary. Belle had followed Hunter underground all the way here because she couldn't act against the "boss" while their phones still had a signal. Once she confirmed they were cut off from the outside world, she promptly used her medicine to induce hallucinations in the "boss" to lure the real boss out. With her goals achieved, Belle felt that there was no need to risk entering the tomb.

“My beastform is male, but even that's not enough to convince him that it's not just a phase. Apparently, the hunters are of a similar mindset.” “How did they get your dead name?” Bella asked, trying not to sound as concerned as she was about what his answer would be. “The same way they found you at that conference and maybe even before,” he replied. “The hunters are a small handful of inbred families who have managed to forge some heavy connections around the entire continent, but their base is here. I'm thinking it's no accident the first hybrid anyone has heard of in ages was drawn to go to school in the same spot, all the way from Texas.”

Hoping that killed him, she turned her attention to the last hunter. The hunter looked at his fallen comrade, then at Belle he gave a shout. He advanced with a battle cry, cracking all of his broken bones in place. Oh shit that was not what I needed to know! Coming at her with more of the fast speed she was used to, Belle got on the ground and kicked with more force, breaking his back as she did it. The hunter got back up, walking at a angle indicating broken bones. Belle's eyes got wide. What the hell, is he some type of zombie. Coming at her with speed once more she heard another voice she hadn't heard in a while
